Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University is taking applications for a Graduate Assistant Strength Coach. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, attending to daily maintenance of the training facilities, and professional development throughout internship program and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree and admission to Dakota State University’s Master of Education Technology graduate program is required. This program is ranked in the Top 3 in the Nation. Any applicants must have a minimum of a 3.25 undergraduate GPA and must take the GRE. There is 2/3 Tuition assistance for graduate school and a $12,000 stipend for the year. North Texas: The University of North Texas Department of Strength and Conditioning, Strength and Conditioning Internship. UNT is a proud member of Conference USA and is searching for aspiring strength and conditioning coaches to fill internship positions available for the 2013 Fall semester (8/19 – 12/6). Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of the UNT strength and conditioning coaching staff, gain in-valuable hands-on experience working with Division I athletes (Football and Olympic sports), and participate in the UNT Strength and Conditioning professional development & educational curriculum (course credit if applicable). Please note, there is no monetary compensation for this position. Applicants must be committed to developing themselves as a professional and working their way up in the strength and conditioning profession.
