Limestone College: Limestone College is accepting applications for two positions as Strength and Conditioning Intern and/or Volunteer Assistants for the 2015 fall semester. Responsibilities include: Position 1: Assisting Football strength coach with the supervision and training of Limestone's football program including game day operations, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Assisting the Assistant AD of Athletic performance with any team assignments/ administrative duties as needed. Position 2: Assisting with the supervision and training of Limestone's 25 athletic programs including experience getting experience with Baseball, Basketball, Men’s Lacrosse (2014,2015 Division II National Champions), and Women’s Lacrosse, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Qualifications include: strong work ethic; punctuality; enthusiasm; desire to further one's career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Preferred qualifications include: pursuing Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certifications; CPR certification and coaching experience. This is an unpaid position. Interns and/or Volunteer Assistants will receive professional work experience and receive college credit if applicable. Texas A&M - Commerce: Texas A&M University-Commerce is currently accepting applications for volunteer strength and conditioning interns for Fall semester 2015. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be interested in pursuing a career in strength and conditioning. Responsibilities include assist in training of all student athletes, help enforce facility policies and rules, daily facility maintenance. Interns will gain experience training a variety of Division II sports. This internship will be from August 24th 2015 to December 4th 2015. Required qualifications: candidates must be in the process of earning or already have earned their bachelor’s degree. San Jose State: San Jose State University is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of VOLUNTEER/INTERN in the Athletic Performance Department for fall semester, 2015. No financial compensation will be provided. The capable candidates will have the opportunity to advance their competence while gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the field of Athletic Performance at a Division 1A institution. Responsibilities for the positions are: assist AP staff with all daily maintenance and operational duties, involvement in volunteer/intern professional development program, as well as other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Performance Coach. Required Qualifications: Applicants should have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science or a related field and working towards CSCS or SCCC. Must have a strong desire to be involved in Athletic Performance at the collegiate level; proficient in Microsoft Excel; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; must be diligent and willing to learn; adhere to all University, Mountain West Conference and NCAA regulations. This position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week.
