Gardner-Webb: The Gardner-Webb University Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: design and implementation of sport specific strength and conditioning programs for assigned teams; demonstration and instruction of various weightlifting techniques; supervise team workouts; assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Qualifications: (Required) – Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into graduate school. (Preferred) – CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR and First Aid certifications; previous strength and conditioning experience in some capacity at the college level; experience in designing and implementing workout programs. Liberty: Henry Barrera has been hired as the men's basketball strength and conditioning coach.

William Penn Charter School (PA): The William Penn Charter School, a private high school outside of Philadelphia, is looking for a part-time assistant strength and conditioning coach, preferably with college experience. Duties include but are not limited to: Design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports teams; assist with facility supervision and training of student-athletes; teach proper movement, speed, agility, strength, power and conditioning techniques. Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; current certification through the NSCA, CSCCA, or USAW; and a current First Aid and CPR certification. Preferred qualifications: Experience working in a team setting either at the high school or collegiate level and a strong desire to become a full-time strength and conditioning coach. This is a part-time, 10-month position with a salary that is negotiable. The anticipated start date is August 18th, 2015.
