Notre Dame: Jeff Quinn has taken on an assistant strength and conditioning role after working as an offensive analyst last season. Quinn is the former head coach at Buffalo.
South Carolina State: Keith Swift, a former assistant strength coach at South Alabama, is now the director of strength and conditioning at South Carolina State.
San Jose State: San Jose State has a volunteer / intern athletic performance coach position open. Salary: No financial compensation will be provided. Position Description: San Jose State University is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of VOLUNTEER/INTERN in the Athletic Performance Department for summer semester, 2016. The capable candidates will have the opportunity to advance their competence while gaining valuable knowledge and experience in the field of Athletic Performance at a Division 1A institution. Responsibilities for the positions are: assist AP staff with all daily maintenance and operational duties, involvement in volunteer/intern professional development program, as well as other duties assigned by the Head Athletic Performance Coach. Required Qualifications: Applicants should have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science or a related field and working towards CSCS or SCCC. Must have a strong desire to be involved in Athletic Performance at the collegiate level; proficient in Microsoft Excel; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; must be diligent and willing to learn; adhere to all University, Mountain West Conference and NCAA regulations. This position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week.
