Eastern Illinois: The Eastern Illinois University Strength & Conditioning Department is seeking quality candidates for a Graduate Assistant position. This position will be directly responsible for all duties assigned by the Director of Strength & Conditioning including, but not limited to, the supervision of all aspects of strength & conditioning for assigned Olympic sport teams in addition to assisting the implementation of strength & conditioning for football, nutritional counseling of assigned student-athletes, and facility maintenance . Candidates will be required to competently teach and demonstrate techniques for the Olympic lifts, powerlifts, and speed & agility training. Candidates must also possess the CSCS or SCCC certification and be CPR/AED certified. The position includes a full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Alfred State College (NY): Alfred State College Football program is currently seeking qualified S&C intern candidate for the summer of 2015. Internship will begin June 1st and end July 31st with potential to continue throughout the season. This is an unpaid position, but housing will be provided. Accepted applicants may be able to receive college credit and a recommendation for future employment upon completion of the internship. Intern responsibilities will consist of coordinating ASC football summer strength and conditioning. Applicants must be certified or working toward certification with the CSCCa (SCCC) or the NSCA (CSCS) and have current CPR/AED certification. Candidates must possess strong communication and motivational skills as well as the ability and commitment to work within the mission and purpose of Alfred State. Candidates must have knowledge of multi-joint strength movements, Olympic lifts, and basic knowledge of the human anatomy.
