Florida Gulf Coast: Florida Gulf Coast University is in search of a graduate assistant strength & conditioning coach to assist with daily operations. This position begins Spring 2016. The Graduate Assistant Strength Coach will play an integral role within the Strength & Conditioning team. Responsibilities include assisting with strength and conditioning sessions, assisting with programming and implementation of training for assigned sports, assisting with maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of the facilities, contributing to the implementation and development of the internship experience and participating in continuing education to further improve practical knowledge. Appointment of the Graduate Assistant position is dependent on admission into the graduate program. Candidates must possess the following: - Certification of NSCA CSCS or CSCCa - CPR/First Aid Certified, experience as a strength & conditioning coach working with baseball and/or softball, preferably at the DI level, positive attitude and hunger to learn, great communication skills. *OUT-OF-STATE TUITION WAIVER IS NOT AVAILABLE*.
