Murray State: Murray State University, is seeking qualified applicants for Intern /Volunteer Strength & Conditioning Coaches for the spring 2015 semester. This is a 5 month, volunteer position that will begin in January and end in May (extension of position is possible). Position Responsibilities: Assisting staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for 12 sports (this DOES include football), set up, and breakdown of training equipment and assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Interns are expected to stay for the entire duration of the internships unless other arrangements have been made. Applicants that require internship for completion of a degree are preferred. Qualifications: CSCS, SCCC, or USAW Certification preferred, but not required. Experience in collegiate strength and conditioning preferred. Pursuit or completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required. Completed or working towards a Master’s Degree in Exercise science, Physical Education or related field preferred.
