Western Carolina: WCU is currently seeking a qualified individual for its Spring/Summer 2013 strength and conditioning internship position. This is a paid position with an 11 month commitment at no more than 40 hours per week. Duties will include general equipment upkeep, weight room sanitation, computer work, game day responsibilities, and assisting in the supplementation program. Applicant requirements are as follows: must have a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in Exercise Science/Nutrition or a related field current CPR/AED certification along with the NSCA – Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Certification. It is preferred that the individual has experience in speed mechanics training. Applicants must also be in compliance with Western Carolina, the Southern Conference and the NCAA.
