Arizona Christian (NAIA): Arizona Christian University, in Phoenix, AZ is looking for 2 strength and conditioning interns from June 1st-July 30th to assist our football programs strength and conditioning program this summer. This is a an unpaid volunteer position. We are looking for high character Christian men that are interested in working with our program. Please contact if interested. Montana State: Montana State University is currently accepting applications for 3 qualified and highly motivated individuals looking to further develop their skills in the field of strength and conditioning, through an UNPAID Internship for the 2015 fall semester.Preferences of the candidate include the following: Pursuit of future career in strength and conditioning as demonstrated by pursuit of professional certifications (CSCS, CSCC, USAW) and/or continued pursuit of a degree in a sport science or related field, CPR/First Aid and AED certification. Benefits to the candidate include experience in strength and conditioning at a collegiate level, potential to earn a recommendation toward further pursuits in the field, further learning of proper exercise technique via staff lifts, and the ability to further professional learning and development through formal internship curriculum. Mercer (FCS - GA): Mercer University, a Division I FCS member of the Southern Conference, is currently accepting applications for UNPAID Fall 2015 Strength Coach positions. The start date is August 3rd, 2015. These positions are UNPAID, if this is not an economically viable situation for you please do not apply. Duties will include assisting with all aspects of the Mercer University Football Strength program as well as work with other teams as assigned. Individuals chosen to join the Strength staff will be given the opportunity to COACH ON THE WEIGHTROOM FLOOR; this is not an observational role. Required qualifications include; Reliability, enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and the ability to volunteer a minimum of 25 hours per week. Preferred qualifications include; Bachelor’s degree, SCCC and/or CSCS certification, First Aid/CPR/AED, experience working with Strength & Conditioning programs at the collegiate level. Applicants should have a strong desire to pursue a career as a full time, collegiate strength & conditioning coach.
