Murray State: Murray State University, is seeking qualified applicants for a (2) Interns / Volunteer Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach with Murray State at University Athletics for the 2012-2013 season. This is a 9 month, volunteer position that will begin on August 4th and end May 2nd (semester internships also available). There may be opportunities to make income through camps, clinics and also on-campus jobs. Internships are currently available for the 2013-2014 school year for graduate students or graduating seniors. The Intern / Volunteer Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the strength and conditioning staff in implementing and supervising programs for 16 Varsity teams. Position Responsibilities: Interns are expected to stay for the entire duration of the internships unless other arrangements have been made. Applicants that require internship for completion of a degree are preferred. Qualifications: CSCS, SCCC, or USAW Certification preferred. Experience in collegiate strength and conditioning preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field required. Completed or working towards a Master’s Degree in Exercise science, Physical Education or related field preferred.
