Wyoming: Wyoming is seeking a grad assistant strength and conditioning coach. Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of teaching technique of Olympic-style lifting exercises. Introduce and teach the objectives of each training phase to student-athletes. Interested applicants should submit the following required materials: (1) a cover letter indicating interest in the position; (2) a complete resume with the name, address, and phone number of four professional references. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Physical Education or related field preferred. Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) through National Strength and Conditioning Association or sitting for exam is required. Minimum of two years coaching experience in the Strength and Conditioning field at a four year college or University level, working with a variety of teams or having a background as competitive collegiate athlete required. Required materials should be submitted to Trent Greener at tgreener@uwyo.edu.

Nicholls State (FCS - LA): Nicholls State University, a NCAA Division 1 institution located in Thibodaux, Louisiana, invites applicants for one (1) graduate assistantship position. This position reports directly to the Director of Strength & Conditioning. Applicant will be responsible for design, implementation and supervision of strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for teams as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning. They will also assist the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with Football lifting and conditioning. The graduate assistantship is for the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semesters with consideration for contract renewal for the 2014-2015 school year. Contingent on acceptance into Nicholls State Graduate School by the Fall 2013 deadline. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or related program. NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa-SCCC, USAW, and/or NASM-PES Certification a plus, but not required. Must be CPR & AED Certified. Prior experience at the collegiate level or playing at the collegiate level preferred, but not required. Applicant must be able to demonstrate and teach all Olympics lifts. Must be accepted into Nicholls State Graduate School by the Fall 2013 deadline. Compensation: Stipend of $5,000 spread out over Academic Year (Fall and Spring Semesters Only) AND Tuition Waiver.
