Gardner-Webb: Gardner-Webb University is seeking a Graduate Assistant strength and conditioning coach. Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of teaching technique of Olympic-style lifting exercises. Introduce and teach the objectives of each training phase to student-athletes. Duties will include assisting with the day to day Football program as well as covering assigned sports by the Director. Louisville: The University of Louisville Football Strength and Conditioning department is accepting internship applications for the Spring of 2014. The planned start dates for this internship will be January 5 (based upon availability) and will continue through the end of April. This is a full-time unpaid internship, responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with the supervision and training of all Louisville Cardinal Football players, assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties, and completion of various educational assignments during the internship are also required. Qualifications: All applicants must be HIGHLY MOTIVATED individuals looking to advance their career in strength and conditioning. Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, have a desire to learn, and be ENTHUSIASTIC about improving the performance of our student athletes. Preferred qualifications include: Senior status or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field; eligible to sit for the CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification; CPR certification. Compensation: Interns will receive experience working in an ACC training environment, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, and receive college credit if applicable.
