Stanford: Stanford University is accepting applications for volunteer intern coaches to contribute to the Sports Performance Program. Qualified candidates will serve all 36 sports including Football, and will have the opportunity to assist in all training sessions in compliance with NCAA rules. This is a unpaid opportunity that provides experience assisting the staff implement individualized, comprehensive, sport-specific injury prevention and performance enhancement programs. Potential candidates must possess an enthusiastic spirit, strong character, and demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Required qualifications include achievement or current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related course of study in addition to current CPR/AED certification. This internship is expected to begin no later than Monday, January 4th 2016, and requires a 6-month time commitment. During this evaluation, interns will have the opportunity to compete and earn consideration for a paid intern or graduate assistant position on the Sports Performance staff.
