Merrimack: Merrimack College is seeking applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Intern in the Department of Athletics. Merrimack is a Catholic Institution with more than 2,000 students, and is a member of NCAA Division I Hockey East and also of the NCAA Division II Northeast-10 conference. Responsibilities for the position will entail assisting in implementation of all aspects of Strength and Conditioning programs for all 22 intercollegiate sports. Responsibilities will include: apply, demonstrate, and instruct exercise, speed and conditioning technique, program design, performance testing, and weight room maintenance. Candidates are required to be working toward a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field, also pursuing relevant certifications, and have a strong desire to pursue a career in Strength and Conditioning. Applications will be accepted year round to fill internship positions for each of the semesters and also the summer.
