XFL: The XFL has officially announced June Jones as the head coach of XFL Houston. This marks Jones’ fourth professional football league to coach in.

New York Jets: After Adam Schefter floated his name for a senior personnel position, NFL draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah told an NFL media podcast, “Look, I haven’t said anything on any of this stuff with the Jets. The reason I haven’t said anything [is] I have not been contacted by anybody with the Jets. I’m very happy doing what I’m doing here. I couldn’t be happier, things couldn’t be better.”

Hawaii: Former American River (JC – CA) offensive line coach Rafael Aguilar has been hired asa a graduate assistant working with the defensive line, per Hawaii Warrior World.

Midwestern State (D-II – TX): Midwestern State University is currently seeking an offensive graduate assistant football coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include; but not limited to, running backs or wide receivers. Experience playing and coaching running backs, wide receivers, or quarterbacks is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program including; but not limited to, video editing, social media, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. San Diego (FCS – CA): University of San Diego is accepting applications for the position of offensive line intern. This is an entry-level position and will be responsible for coaching, administrative support, video/opponent breakdowns, and daily practice preparation. This in an intern position and is UNPAID without housing or benefits. Compensation includes occasional meals and an opportunity to coach and run drills at the division 1 level. This is a unique position that has allowed several former interns to move on and become GA’s or position coaches in the NCAA. The final candidate will need to pass a background check. Southwestern Assemblies of God (NAIA – TX): SAGU has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant working with linebackers. Proficiency with Hudl is preferred. Applicants must be able to gain admission into the graduate school program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing equipment, film breakdown, coaching your own position group, promotion and marketing of the program, and possible video coordinator duties. The position will cover 5 out of 6 semester hours and provide a small stipend, housing will not be provided.
