UTSA: Hours after numerous local reports said she pulled out of the search at UTEP….numerous reports now say Northern Arizona AD Lisa Campos will be the new AD at UTSA (announcement tomorrow).
Kansas State: K-State released a statement this afternoon directly refuting Brett McMurphy’s report from this morning that K-State’s administration had an agreement in place with Jim Leavitt. Their choice of words were interesting to say the least. Update> Brett McMurphy stands by his reporting.

Alma (D-III – MI): Head coach Greg Psconda will not return. Psconda led the program for six seasons and compiled a 20-40 record, including a 7-3 mark in 2016. A search for his replacement will begin immediately and linebackers coach Mark Merlo, a member of the staff since 2010, will lead the team moving forward as a search for Psconda’s replacement begins immediately.
North Alabama (D-II): Per source, offensive line coach / run game coordinator Scott Harper is no longer on staff.
Tennessee: Tennessee officials are “ramping up their pursuit” of Jon Gruden, according to a report from GoVols247. The report is here, though it is behind a pay wall. Update> In response to the report, Jimmy Hyams who covers Tennessee football reports via multiple sources Tennessee in not “interviewing or making a pitch to” Gruden today in Tampa.
Kansas State: School officials, led by then-AD John Currie (who now is AD at Tennessee), had an agreement in place to bring then-Colorado defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt on staff to replace Bill Snyder as head coach in 2018, but Snyder nixed the plan according to a report from Brett McMurphy.
Hampton: Hampton has announced it will leave the MEAC to join the Big South in July. It will become the second HBCU to leave an HBCU conference; Tennessee State is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Northern State (D-II – SD): Northern State University (DII-SD) is accepting applications for the position of Offensive Coordinator. The position includes but is not limited to overseeing the offensive staff, conducting game plan meetings, play-calling, and coaching a position group. Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant working with the defensive side of the football. Responsibilities include practice/game preparation with a defensive position group (will be determined by applicants experience), recruiting, summer camps, equipment, video and all other aspects of the football program. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. New Orleans Saints: Sean Payton noted today that newly hired Mike Westhoff will oversee all of the special teams units and work alongside special teams coordinator Bradford Banta and assistant special teams coach Kevin O’Dea.
Endicott (D-III – MA): Head coach Kevin DeWall will not return next season after finishing 3-7 last year. DeWall was 13-17 in three seasons leading the program.

Pacific Lutheran (D-III – WA): Head coach Scott Westering, a member of the school’s Hall of Fame, has announced his resignation after 14 seasons and a 73-54 record. Assistant head coach Jud Keim has been named interim head coach and the school notes in their release that they plan to immediately launch a national search for a new head coach.
Wilkes (D-III – PA): Trey Brown has been let go as head coach after four seasons. Under Brown, Wilkes was 7-33 overall and 0-10 this season. The school is immediately launching a national search for their next head coach.
Toledo: By picking up their 9th win of the season over Bowling Green last night, head coach Jason Candle picked up a $5,000 bonus and has earned $40,000 in bonus money this season, per Steve Berkowitz.
