North Central (D-III – IL): Shane Kierking is leaving his post as the defensive coordinator at Benedictine (D-III – IL) to become the defensive coordinator at North Central, per source. Dierking is an alum of NCC.
Robert Morris (NAIA – Chicago, IL): Robert Morris has hired Mike Murray as defensive coordinator, source tells FootballScoop. He comes from North Central (D-III – IL) where he was the defensive Coordinator. RMU has also promoted Ben Black, who served in a graduate assistant role the past two seasons, as the defensive line coach.
Florida Atlantic: Source tells FootballScoop Lane Kiffin is planning to hire Southern Miss defensive coordinator Tony Pecoraro in the same capacity. Pecoraro spent two seasons in Hattiesburg and spent the previous four seasons as the defensive coordinator at Alcorn State. He also spent two seasons as the defensive coordinator at North Alabama.

Eastern Illinois (FCS): Eastern Illinois head coach Kim Dameron has completed his 2018 coaching staff with the hire of Andrew Carter (DL) and Tony Turner (outside receivers). Carter was a graduate assistant at EIU last year, while Turner most recently coached at Tarleton State (D-II – TX). Dameron has also shifted three current staff members to different coaching roles, as Micah Smith woill now work with the inside receivers, Ethan Hutson (=will now coach the running backs, and Tyler Stevens will now work as a defensive assistant.
St. Andrews (NAIA – NC): St. Andrews University, Located in Laurinburg, NC is looking to hire an ffensive line or running backs coach Immediately. This is an entry level position with a $25,000 salary including benefits. Candidates with a Triple Option background preferred. NFL: Longtime NFL referee/biceps model Ed Hochuli (along with Jeff Triplette) has announced his retirement. Hochuli’s son, Shawn Hochuli, has been promoted from back judge to referee.
Monroe College (JC-NY): Monroe College, located in New Rochelle, NY is looking to hire a linebacker coach immediately. This is a seasonal stipend position that does not include housing. Samford (FCS – AL): Per source, director of football operations Ricky Turner has been promoted to special teams coordinator / tight ends coach and offensive quality control coach CJ Bennett has been promoted to running backs coach.
Rose Hulman (D-III – IN): Dan Watson has been hired as the team’s new offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Watson previously served as the offensive line and head strength coach at Franklin (D-III – IN).
Western New Mexico (D-II): Per source SAGU (NAIA – TX) head coach Frank Tristan has been named head coach at Western New Mexico.
Northern Iowa (FCS): Ryan Clanton, the offensive coordinator / offensive line / strength coach at Ventura College (JC – CA) and former offensive lineman at Oregon, has been hired to coach the offensive line at UNI.
Stephen F. Austin (FCS – TX): Head coach Clint Conque has announced a few additions to his staff and some promotions as well. New to the staff are Dan Clark (OL), Kevin Barbay (QBs) and Jeff Bowen (TEs), and defensive coordinator Jeff Byrd has been promoted to assistant head coach and tight ends coach / co-special teams coordinator Jeremy Hammock will now work with the running backs.
Stetson (FCS – FL): Stetson University is looking for applications for a full time, entry level Assistant Football coach responsible for coaching running backs and other collateral duties as assigned by the head coach. He must operate within the guidelines of an NCAA Division I non-scholarship football program and within the mission of the University and its philosophy of intercollegiate athletics. He will guide and actively encourage student-athletes to succeed academically, acquire a degree and represent the University with the highest integrity. The coach is also responsible for the recruitment of student-athletes, adhering to NCAA, Conference and University regulations with regard to recruiting, admission standards and eligibility, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, and assist in the establishment of effective media relations. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree and previous college coaching and recruiting experience are preferred. Computer skills and working knowledge of social applications are a must as is knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, admissions and financial aid officers, fellow employees, program boosters, and the public. As this position requires operation of University vehicles and traveling for recruiting purposes, the possession and maintenance of a valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
