Texas A&M: Defensive coordinator Mike Elko is now college football’s fourth $2 million coordinator, according to the Dallas Morning News. Details here.

Mississippi State: Joe Moorhead has agreed to a new four-year contract extension with Joe Moorhead taking him through the 2022 season where he will make an average salary of $3.2 million per season, per Bruce Feldman. Details here.

Arkansas: Per source, Louisiana-Lafayette director of recruiting and football logistics Joshua Thompson has accepted the executive director of recruiting and personnel at Arkansas. Prior to last season, Thompson worked as a personnel / recruiting assistant at Texas A&M.

Hiram (D-III – OH): Hiram College is seeking applications for an NCAA grant funded minority assistant football coaching position for the 2019-20 & 2020-21 years. Hiram College is a private liberal arts institution located in northeast Ohio.  The College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III. This position will be responsible for defensive skill positions coaching, recruiting both on and off campus in accordance with Hiram College policies, NCAC and NCAA policies and procedures, video/academic support for assigned position players, and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree is required and preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in collegiate football, completion of certification in NSCA or CSCCA preferred but not required. Application deadline: Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Priority will be given to those applications received by June 15th, 2019. Oakland Raiders: The Raiders have announced that Tom Delaney is moving from director of football administration to senior vice president – director of football administration, player personnel analyst David Christoff has been promoted to director of football analytics, scouting coordinator Teddy Atlas has been elevated to assistant director of college scouting, and area scout Trey Scott has been promoted to assistant director of player personnel. The organization has also announced the additions of Jim Abrams (director of college scouting), Dwayne Joseph (director of pro personnel), DuJuan Daniels (assistant director of player personnel), Jack Gilmore (scouting coordinator), John Hill (pro scout), Adam Maxie (pro scouting assistant) and Walter Juliff (senior advisor to the GM).

NY Jets: Acting GM and head coach Adam Gase has fired scout Bill Dekraker, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

Evangel (NAIA – MO): Per source, former Liberty defensive quality control coach Darren Jackson has accepted the special teams coordinator/ cornerbacks position at Evangel University. Jackson spent the past two seasons at Liberty.

Northwestern Oklahoma State (D-II – OK): Northwestern Oklahoma State University is currently seeking an offensive graduate assistant football coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, meals and tuition assistance for graduate school (Applicants must be accepted into Graduate School- 2.75 undergrad/or last 30 hours- 3.0). Coaching responsibilities to include; but not limited to, wide receivers and special teams. Experience playing and coaching wide receivers, or quarterbacks is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program including; but not limited to, video editing, social media, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Georgia Southern: Defensive line coach Victor Cabral has added the title of recruiting coordinator.

Troy: Troy University Football is seeking a young, energetic, experienced Graphic Design artist to work within the football program. This position is a Graduate Assistant position and is designed for someone who wishes gain a Master’s Degree and to seek a career in Graphic Design & Media/Marketing in Athletics – This position is not intended for individuals who wish to be in coaching. This position will be 90% graphics production and the rest of the duties will be to assist in recruiting and operations and will be based on the strengths of the individual. Middle Tennessee State: Eli Miller, who previously worked as a recruiting assistant at Oregon, has been hired as director of player personnel.

Big Ten: A Big Ten member recently made a splash with a Game of Thrones addition to their football facility.

SUNY-Maritime (D-III – NY): SUNY Maritime located in the Bronx, NY has a full-time coach opening.  The preferred candidate has experience with Offensive Line and Strength and Conditioning. Candidate will need to be strength certified or obtain appropriate certification upon being hired. This is a full-time position estimated salary is $36,000 and full benefits. Southern Miss: Former Southern Miss defensive assistant Brandon Mancuso has been named the head coach at Prentiss Christian (MS).

Morehead State (FCS – KY): Morehead State University is accepting applications for the position of Defensive Line/Operations Intern. This is an entry-level position and candidate will assist in coaching of the defensive line, assist in all areas related to football operations, contribute to weekly gameplan through film breakdown and scouting report preparation, and will assist staff wherever needed. This position is UNPAID. Meal plan will be provided while school is in session.  Experience with DVSport software is a plus. Start date is July 15th. Jacksonville Jaguars: Virginia State (D-II) offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator has accepted a Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship position with the Jaguars.

Buffalo State (D-III – NY): Buffalo State College is currently seeking a full-time 12- month Linebackers coach. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, coaching your own position group, managing a recruiting area, film editing/breakdown, game/practice preparation, as well as other duties assigned by the head football coach. Candidates must have great work ethic, excellent communication skills, collegiate recruiting experience, and experience working with a diverse student population. In addition, a minimum of 2 years of collegiate coaching linebackers. A Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of a background check is required. Position will pay $15,600.00 with full New York State benefits. Start date will be July 1, 2019.
