Washington Redskins: Panthers assistant special teams coach Ben Jacobs has accepted the same position with Ron Rivera and the Redskins tweets Alex Marvez.

Vanderbilt: Derek Mason has announced the hires of Ted Roof (DC), Todd Fitch (OC) and Pete Rossomando (OL). Rossomando coached offensive line last season at Rutgers and served as head coach at Central Connecticut State prior to that.

Arkansas: Georgia special teams coordinator Scott Fountain plans to accept the same role at Arkansas 247Sports is reporting. We can confirm the move is in the works.

Montana Tech (NAIA): Sources tell FootballScoop head coach Chuck Morrell has stepped down. We hear he has his next position already lined up.

Fresno State: Sources tell FootballScoop Kalen DeBoer plans to hire this Power 5 coordinator as his new defensive coordinator.

South Florida: Jules Montinar is slated to be the new corners coach at USF. Montinar was a defensive quality control at Georgia.

Masters of Sports Administration: Upper Iowa’s MSA degree provides learners with the current theories, concepts, and learning models necessary to assume administrative, coaching and leadership roles in high school, higher education and sports business settings. The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Education.

Matt Rhule: Baylor head coach Matt Rhule will interview with the Panthers Monday and the Giants Tuesday tweets Ian Rapoport.

Arkansas: Sources tell FootballScoop Sam Pittman is hiring Georgia State running backs coach Jimmy Smith in the same capacity. Smith joined the GSU staff this past Spring after serving as head coach and AD at Cedar Grove HS (metro Atlanta) where he won two state championships and competed for multiple others.

Florida State: Savannah State offensive line coach Manrey Saint-Amour is joining Florida State’s staff as an offensive line grad assistant. We hear very good things about this young coach.

Miami: Yesterday we reported that Rhett Lashlee would bring Jonny Brewer with him to The U, today, we can add that Kyle Cooper will also be going with them. Cooper will serve as an offensive quality control, we are told.

Dallas: The Cowboys are meeting with both Mike McCarthy and Marvin Lewis today shares Adam Schefter.

Carroll (D-III – WI): Carroll University has hired Millikin offensive coordinator Mike Budziszewski as their new head coach.

Vanderbilt: App State defensive coordinator Ted Roof is expected to be the next defensive coordinator for Derek Mason at Vandy tweets Pete Thamel.

App State: Source tells FootballScoop Garrett Riley is expected to be promoted to offensive coordinator. Pete Thamel tweeted the same last night.

Bowl game: Southern Miss is playing Tulane today in Fort Worth at the Armed Forces Bowl (10:30CT – ESPN).

Dallas: Former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is headed to Dallas to speak with the Jones contingent tweets Ian Rapoport. In case you were wondering, no the Cowboys still have not officially announced a separation with Jason Garrett.

Playoffs: Bills at Texans (3:35CT – ESPN/ABC) and Titans at New England (8:15ET – CBS) on tap for today.

New Mexico: Texas special teams coordinator Derek Warehime will become offensive coordinator at New Mexico tweets Anwar Richardson.

Colorado State: Ball State offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Joey Lynch is joining the Colorado State staff in a similar capacity, sources tell FootballScoop. More here.

Cleveland: The Browns will interview 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh today.

Missouri: App State offensive quality control Kegan McDaniel has joined Drink’s staff at Missouri.

Carolina: Kevin Stefanski is scheduled to interview with the Panthers next week Dan Graziano reports. Josina Anderson adds that Perry Fewell is sceduled to interview Wednesday.

Rutgers: Rutgers has now made it official. Sean Gleeson is their new offensive coordinator.
