Iowa: Iowa has cut 15 percent of its budget for its fiscal year 2021, including major pay cuts for Kirk Ferentz and senior-level staff. More here.

Grinnell College (D-III – IA): Grinnell announced today they will not play their fall sports (including football) this year. The decision comes less than a year after the college canceled much of its football season because its roster had dwindled to 28 players due to injuries. Grinnell had planned to resume football this year.

West Virginia Wesleyan (D-II): WV Wesleyan College is seeking applicants for volunteer operations assistants on both sides of the ball. Michigan: Jim Harbaugh will take a 10 percent pay cut, starting Aug. 1.

How should older coaches handle this upcoming season?

RPI (D-III – NY): RPI has announced they will not play football this Fall. “Rensselaer will not be competing in fall intercollegiate competition. Fall sports teams include men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, golf, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s tennis.”

Adrian College (D-III – MI): Adrian College has an opening for an entry level coach working with a skill position on either side of the ball. The position is an 11 month contract and will be filled as soon as possible. Position includes a $10,000 stipend, partial benefits, housing, and a meal plan. MidAmerica Nazarene (NAIA – KS): MidAmerica Nazarene University has a position of Director of Football Operations opening. This position will be a grad assistant position. The candidate will need to be accepted into a graduate program at MNU.  The candidate will receive tuition waiver, monthly stipend, housing, and meal plan. ProStar Sports: Long-time sports agent Paul Sheehy is battling Covid-19. Paul is a wonderful person. Mike Klis reports that Sheehy came down with high fever, tested positive on June 21st and has been on a ventilator since Friday. Please keep him in your prayers.
