Chris Ash: The former Rutgers coach has a few jobs in mind as his next move in coaching. Here’s what they are.

Gus Malzahn: Responding to speculation about the Arkansas job, Gus Malzahn opted for a familiar approach.

You don’t have to be a coordinator to be a successful head coach, and these coaches are proof

Youngstown State: What happened to Bo Pelini?

Boise State: While talking about the negatives of social media, Bryan Harsin may have coined a new term aimed at trolls.

Chowan (D-II – NC): After 12 seasons as an assistant coach with the program, including the last four games as the interim head coach, offensive coordinator Mark Hall has been promoted to head coach. Hall also coached the team’s wide receivers and quarterbacks as well.

Louisiana Tech: Skip Holtz will get an automatic 1-year contract extension for hitting 8-wins after their win over North Texas on Saturday, per Steve Berkowitz. This also adds $700k to the value of Holtz’s deal which runs through June 30, 2024.

Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech started the season 2-2, including losses at Boston College and a beatdown at the hands of Duke. Since then, the Hokies have won 4 of 5 and darn near won the 5th (at Notre Dame). How did they turn it around? Well, Justin Fuente apologized to the team for not doing his job.

Oklahoma State: Todd Bradford has been hired as the director of recruiting for the program. Bradford previously coached the linebackers from 2005-07 in Stillwater before going on to serve as the defensive coordinator at Southern Miss and Maryland. He spent 2018 in private business.

Arkansas: A look at the Hogs’ impending search and, despite what Twitter and the betting odds have to say, some thoughts on the right type of coach for this job.

South Carolina: An update with the Gamecocks.
