North Alabama (FCS): The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant in the Football program. The selected candidate(s) must be able to meet all eligibility requirements for the position including the ability to obtain and maintain admission to one of UNA’s graduate programs. Applicants with experience in offensive line and/or tight end coaching will be given priority. NFL: The NFL and NFLPA are discussing the possibility of shortening the 2020 preseason, Tom Pelissero tweets, noting that nothing is final or imminent but that they could end playing two games instead of the traditional four.
California Junior Colleges: The California JuCo’s have an interesting three-part alternative plan for bringing back college football.

SEC: The SEC has announced its 2020 media days will be held virtually. The event was scheduled for July 13-16 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. New dates and times are TBD.
Furman (FCS – SC): Furman University has two immediate openings for TWO assistant VOLUNTEER football coaches – both will work on the DEFENSIVE side of the ball. One position will be able to coach on-the-field, while the other will be an off-the-field role. Both positions will be responsible for the following; assisting with a position on the field and in the meeting room, film breakdown, data input, practice organization, game day preparation, student athlete development, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Ideal candidates are hard workers, super-organized, fast learners, and are highly skilled in the following: DVSport data input, Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Visio. These VOLUNTEER positions (no stipend, meal plan, or housing) are a great way for young coaches to get hands on coaching experience at the FCS level. Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): After seven years as a Division III school, Iowa Wesleyan has decided to return to the NAIA level and will leave the UMAC (where they were an affiliate member for football only).
Iowa Western CC (JC): Iowa Western is now accepting applications for a Strength and Conditioning coach. Position includes room and board with a possible stipend. The details of the position will allow the coach to program for football and possibly help other sports programs in the athletics department. Opportunities to assist with the daily operations of the football staff and possible coaching duties as well. Looking for a candidate who is looking to get a start working in strength and conditioning within collegiate football. Iowa Western Community College is located in Council Bluffs, IA and competes at the NJCAA level with new a indoor facility and weight room. Nebraska Wesleyan (D-III): Nebraska Wesleyan is seeking qualified applicants for an Offensive Football Intern. This position will work with the football program in all aspects of developing a competitive program including, but not limited to, recruiting, coaching, program organization, and mentoring student-athletes. Must have coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball, and must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and the summer. UT-Permian Basin (D-II): The University of Texas Permian Basin is seeking an offensive assistant working with the OL. This is a restricted earnings/part-time position with housing provided. The candidate will be responsible for coaching a position, film-breakdown, scouting reports, off campus recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Bachelor’s degree required.
