Nicholls State: We are now hearing Troy Stubbs may not be able to join his father's staff at Nicholls State.
Houston: Kevin Sumlin has agreed to a new contract with Houston. There is a report that Sumlin there is mutual interest between Sumlin and Pittsburgh Steelers defensive backs coach Ray Horton for the DC position.
Kentucky: We hear former Kentucky wide receiver Tommy Cook will be joining the staff as a grad assistant.
NY Giants: Former Buffalo Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell has accepted the DC position with the Giants.
University of Sioux Falls: Our sources tell us defensive coordinator Chuck Morrell is stepping down. Special teams coordinator / linebackers coach Jon Anderson will likely move into the DC position. Quarterbacks Kurtiss Riggs is also stepping down. Offensive line coach Ryan Grubb will likely be promoted to OC.
UTEP: Defensive line coach DeChon Burns will not return. Safeties coach Jim Clark will also not return.
South Florida: Skip Holtz has earned a 5-year contract at $9.1 million. The assistants will get a total of $1.55 million per year.
Cornell: Our sources tell us Ole Miss offensive coordinator Kent Austin withdrew from the Cornell search. We should have more on the Cornell search later on.
Texas Tech: Although Ruffin McNeill will not be a part of Tuberville's staff, Chancellor Kent Hance says he'll have a job at Texas Tech if he wants. "We'd make him (Ruffin) an assistant athletic director to help us with development in charge of certain areas. And if he didn't want to do that, I'd put him in my office in development. There's not a greater ambassador,'' says Hance.
Toledo: We hear that Toledo has hired Louis Ayeni as the running backs coach. Ayeni was the offensive graduate assistant at Northwestern. We hear that Northwestern plans to fill that slot internally.
Texas Tech: We are hearing Southern Miss cornerbacks coach Travaris Robinson will be joining Tommy Tuberville's staff at Texas Tech. Robinson played for Tuberville at Auburn. James Willis, as expected, accepted the DC position.
West Virginia: We hear that UCONN's Dave McMichael has an offer to join the staff at West Virginia to replace Doc Holliday as tight ends coach.
Central Florida: We are hearing that former Houston defensive coordinator John Skladany will be returning to UCF as linebackers / special teams coordinator.
Tennessee: ESPN's Joe Schad is reporting Kippy Brown is scheduled to interview tomorrow morning. Schad says Mike Hamilton wants to have a new coach by Friday night.
Syracuse: We are hearing Doug Marrone is interested in hiring New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Bill O'Brien.

New England Patriots: We hear defensive coordinator Dean Pees will not return.
Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles have landed Bobby April to run the special teams.
Carolina Panthers: Danny Crossman will not return as special teams coordinator.
Tennessee: Despite a report that has surfaced, FootballScoop has confirmed that as of 3 minutes ago, David Cutcliffe has not received an offer. Cutcliffe may end up with the job, but we have confirmed there is no offer at this point.
NC State: Our sources tell us NC State has hired Dunbar HS (KY) assistant coach Steve Deaton as a defensive grad assistant.
Valpo: We are hearing that Ohio Dominican head coach Dale Carlson has accepted the head coaching position at Valpo.
Air Force: FootballScoop has just confirmed that head coach Troy Calhoun is staying at Air Force.
Nicholls State: We are hearing Jeremey Atwell will remain with the new staff as the defensive coordinator.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Sean Kugler has accepted the same position with the Steelers.
Tennessee: We have heard that Will Muschamp spoke very highly of Derek Dooley to AD Mike Hamilton.
East Carolina: East Carolina AD Terry Holland once came very close to hiring Bud Foster. When Holland was at Virginia as the basketball coach, Derek Dooley was a part of the Cavalier teams that went to 3 bowl games and won the 1989 ACC championship.
Tennessee: FootballScoop has learned that Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun has called a 5:50 pm team meeting in Colorado Springs. We wonder why?
Washington Redskins: Bobby Turner is leaving the Broncos to join the Redskins staff as running backs coach.
UCLA: Norm Chow's agent says he is staying at UCLA.
Arkansas: We have been told that it's a done deal with Chris Klenakis (Nevada OC / offensive line coach) going to Arkansas.
South Florida: FootballScoop has just confirmed that Skip Holtz has accepted the head coaching job.
Central Missouri: We are hearing Montana State assistant head coach / co-offensive coordinator Jim Svoboda is defintely in the mix for the head coaching job.
Tennessee: ESPN is reporting Tennessee has talked with David Cutcliffe.
Central Michigan: Moments ago we heard that Fort Hays State defensive coordinator Kyle Nystrom and Michigan State grad assistant Kort Shankweiler have offers from Dan Enos to join the staff. We have also heard from a different source that North Dakota State wide receivers coach Terrence Samuel received an offer last night.
Tennessee: FootballScoop has confirmed that Muschamp is remaining at Texas.
South Florida: FootballScoop has confirmed negotiations are ongoing this morning with Skip Holtz however this does not mean that he will definitely get the job. They want to ensure that if they choose him as the next coach that the terms are finalized in advance.
Central Michigan: Our sources have just told us that Dan Enos will be hiring former Marshall offensive line coach Mike Cummings.
Nassau Community College: We are hearing Joe Osovet has resigned as the offensive coordinator.
Hiram College: We are hearing Dustin Miller (Malone College) is the new OC / quarterbacks coach. We also hear Drew Owens (Saint Anselm) is the new assistant OC / offensive line coach.
USC: There is a report that Minnesota offensive line coach Tim Davis will be heading to USC. Also, Monte Kiffin denied a report that Dat Nguyen (Dallas Cowboys linebackers coach) has been hired on the defensive staff at USC.
Wayne State: FootballScoop has learned that Greg Austin has accepted the grad assistant position at Wayne State. Austin was most recently the offensive line coach at Mesabi Range CC.
North Texas: Our sources tell us former Sam Houston State head coach Todd Whitten talked with Todd Dodge about the OC position.
Georgia Southern: We are hearing Mitch Ware has joined the Georgia Southern staff as quarterbacks coach.
Youngstown State: We are hearing Southern Illinois OC Phil Longo has an offer to join Eric Wolford's staff at Youngstown State.
Memphis: Our sources have just told us Tulsa corners coach Galen Scott accepted a position on the Memphis staff last night.
Wyoming: We hear University of New Hampshire wide receivers coach Derek Sage has joined the Wyoming staff.
Tennessee: FootballScoop has confirmed that none of the Tennessee assistants or off-the-field personnel in Knoxville have heard anything from Kiffin.
South Florida: We have heard some really interesting names that will be going with Tommy Bowden if he lands the job at South Florida. Let's just say, at least three of the hires would be very impressive.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have signed offensive line coach Paul Alexander to a new 3-year contract.
Florida Tuskers (UFL): With Haslett leaving for Washington, it will be interesting to see if the Tuskers promoted OC Jay Gruden to head coach.
Chicago Bears: The Chicago Tribune is reporting the Bears have spoken with Jacksonville assistant Mike Tice regarding the OC and / or offensive line job.
Texas Tech: Ruffin McNeill will not be a part of the new staff. Defensive grad assistant Duane Price will return.
Coastal Carolina: We are hearing Coastal Carolina hired former Air Force assistant Patrick Covington to coach the offensive line.
UNLV: We are hearing Montana defensive line coach Michael Gray is leaving to accept the UNLV defensive line job. Gray had just joined the Montana staff late last week.
Montana: Dick Arbuckle has been hired as the new special teams coordinator.
Mississippi State: We hear South Florida defensive line coach John Hendricks is interested in the Mississippi State defensive line job.
Air Force: According to the Denver Post, Calhoun said "No comment" when asked if he had been contacted by anyone representing Tennessee, but added, "There is nothing there."
UTEP: We are hearing former UNLV assistant Andre Patterson will be named defensive coordinator at UTEP as early as today.
