Kentucky: Our sources tell us that Joker Phillips will replace Steve Ortmayer with Illinois tight ends coach Greg Nord.

Kentucky: FootballScoop has just learned that special teams coordinator Steve Ortmayer will not return to the staff.

Feather River CC: We have just learned that Feather River CC has decided to stay in-house by hiring defensive coordinator JD Johnson as the new head coach.

USC: Lane Kiffin just announced that running backs coach Todd McNair is no longer a part of the USC coaching staff. McNair's contract expired yesterday.

Indiana State: FootballScoop has confirmed that Rick Minter (former Marshall DC / interim HC), Mike Simmonds (former South Florida offensive line coach), and Harold Etheridge (former Washington State offensive line coach) have all joined the staff at Indiana State. Minter will serve as the defensive coordinator.

SUNY Cortland: an NCAA Division III institution and New Jersey Athletic Conference member has an immediate opening for an offensive line/TE assistant coach. Remuneration is as a graduate assistant position within the athletic department. The position is considered full time with duties as a position coach and off campus recruiter. The position involves a $6000 stipend with graduate course studies. MacMurray College: invites applications for the position of Football Intern. The package includes room, board and $5000 pro-rated stipend for 10 month position. The coach will have his own position group and recruiting territory, and will be involved in game planning and film work. Knowledge of DSV editing software is an advantage. Western New Mexico: We have learned that Washington State grad assistant Nick Lucey accepted the offensive coordinator job at Western New Mexico.

Alcorn State University: a member of the NCAA Division 1 FCS and Southwestern Athletic Conference is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant Football Coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, meals, and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to the defensive side of the ball. Additional responsibilities include all aspects of the football program. Knowledge of Digital Sports Video editing system preferred. Bachelor's degree required with an overall GPA of 3.0. Cincinnati: Montana State running backs coach Milo Austin has accepted the director of player development job on Butch Jones' staff at Cincinnati.

University of Wisconsin-Stout: Clayt Birmingham has been promoted to head coach. Birmingham has served as the defensive coordinator the past three seasons. The job came open when head coach Duey Naatz accepted the AD position at the school.

Rockford College: Head coach Randy Schrader, reportedly, will accept the head coaching job at Washington HS in Iowa.

Western New Mexico: Our sources tell us offensive coordinator Marques Reischl has resigned to accept a high school coaching position in Arizona.
