Missouri Western: We hear former Missouri Western player Anthony Copeland will be joining the staff as tight ends coach.

Massachusetts Institute of Technology: a nationally recognized university in Cambridge, MA, invites applicants for a part-time assistant position . Duties include, but are not limited to coaching an offensive position, assisting with practice and game planning, leading position meetings, recruiting and any other duties assigned by the head coach. Previous coaching or playing experience required. Compensation for the position will be a stipend of about $3,000 for the season. Chadron State College: is currently seeking an Defensive Line Graduate Assistant Football Coach. The position includes a stipend of $7000 per year, and free tuition for full time graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to Defensive Line. Additional responsibilities include all aspects of the football program. Experience playing or coaching Defensive Line preferred. Bachelor's degree required. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Vanderbilt: Robbie Caldwell has been named interim head coach. Caldwell coaches the offensive line. He does, technically, have a position open on the staff now.

Curry College: in Milton, MA seeks a part-time offensive line coach for the upcoming football season. Stipend of $5,000, and does not include housing/meals. The person will assist the Head Coach in all phases of the program, including recruiting, player evaluation, practice planning and implementation, off-season conditioning, participating in spring football, and other duties as assigned. Previous college playing or college coaching experience a must. All Curry College Athletic programs and staff must function within the rules and regulations established by the NCAA and the respective conference. Notre Dame: Notre Dame has an opening for a Recruiting Office services coordinator. Supervise and coordinate data entry of all prospect information. Assist Director of Football Development with official recruiting weekends; Blue & Gold game day; appreciation dinners; junior days; unofficial and official visits; and home game weekends. Supervise and schedule recruiting office student workers. Serve as liaison for summer camp coaches and maintain database with current information. Handle additional duties as assigned. Missouri Western: Offensive line coach Jay Eilers has accepted a high school head coaching job in at Marshall HS in Missouri. Tight ends coach Todd Throckmorton will be moving to offensive line.

Vanderbilt: In making the announcement that he is retiring ("not resigning") coach Johnson said that he and his wife simply felt that it was time to move on in life and said that he likely will move back to South Carolina to be closer to family in retirement. Assistant head coach Robbie Caldwell has been named interim head coach.

Vanderbilt: 104.5 The Zone in Nashville is reporting that Vanderbilt head coach Bobby Johnson has decided to resign. Vanderbilt will reportedly have a press conference later this after and could potentially name an interim head coach.

Murray State: Head coach Chris Hatcher is featured today on A Play A Day.

UW-Whitewater: Morningside offensive coordinator Josh Gehring has joined the UW-Whitewater staff as quarterbacks / wide receivers / passing game coordinator. Gehring served as the OC / quarterbacks coach at Lambeth University during the spring.
