Ventura CC (CA): Feather River CC (CA) defensive coordinator Mike Haydon has accepted a position on the Ventura CC staff. We understand Haydon will work with the linebackers and coordinate the special teams.

North Park University (D-III - IL): Former head coach Scott Pethtel has been named head coach at Brookstone HS (GA). Pethtel led the NPU program from 2006-2012 and spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Brookstone.

Humboldt State (D-II - CA): Humboldt State is looking for a home game only for September 26, 2015. Will consider all levels and a guarantee is offered. Interested programs can contact

Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Defensive coordinator/defensive backs coach Ken Gordon has been promoted to associate head coach.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): Jack Johnson has been hired at his alma mater as linebackers coach/special teams coordinator.

Fordham (FCS - NY): Jerrick Hall has been announced as defensive line coach.He previously served in a similar capacity at New Haven.

Rose-Hulman (D-III - IN): Corey Headley has been hired as wide receivers coach.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Per source, Wayne State College (D-II - NE) defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich has joined the SMSU staff as assistant head coach.

New Orleans Saints: After 42 as the head equipment manager Dan "Chief" Simmons is transitioning to a newly created role of alumni / legends coordinator.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): Jack Johnson has joined the UMHB staff as linebackers coach / special teams coordinator. Johnson returns to his alma mater after spending the last nine seasons as an assistant at Bridgewater College (D-III - VA) where he served as defensive coordinator / safeties coach.

Wayne State College (D-II - NE): Wayne State College is looking for two graduate assistant football coaches for 2015. Looking for coaches with experience with running backs and offensive line. Bachelor’s degree required. Must be accepted to the Graduate School at Wayne State College. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated excellent writing, speaking, planning and organizational skills; strong interpersonal management skills, high energy, creativity, results-oriented mentality; and a demonstrated ability to work as a team player. Playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred, and coaching experience is a plus. Compensation: Full tuition and a $5000.00 stipend.
