Hawaii: Offensive coordinator Aaron Price has been let go. Norm Chow announced this at their first practice today saying, "some issues have arisen" but did not provide additional details. Chow will serve as Hawaii's play caller this year according to Bruce Feldman

Paine College (D-II - GA): Paine College hired former Seattle Seahawk veteran Edwin Bailey as offensive line coach, and former Appalachian State player Coco Hillary as receivers coach. 

Cortland State: Head coach Dan MacNeil has finalized his staff. Former player Bill Castro will coach the offensive line, Nathan Pagan (who played at West Chester University) will coach the receivers and Mike Wutzer will serve as the assistant offensive line coach.

Central College (D-III - IA): Central College has an immediate opening for an entry level football / baseball coaching position. Compensation will include a stipend and the potential for housing / meals. Successful candidates will possess a background in both football and baseball. Responsibilities include recruiting, film breakdown, assisting with on field coaching and other duties as assigned for both football and baseball programs. Notre Dame: Brian Kelly told ESPN that he agreed to terms on a contract extension back in December but the legal languange is still being ironed out. Kelly's last extension, signed following the 2011 season, took him through 2016. Expect an announcement on the latest extension soon.

Methodist University (D-III - NC): Head coach CJ Goss has completed his staff. Gerard Gleeson, former offensive / defensive line coach at Daniel Boone HS (PA) will serve as an assistant offensive line coach and former Salisbury (D-III - MD) corner Brandon Lemon will coach the cornerbacks.

Lock Haven (D-II - PA): Former Jacksonville University offensive lineman Wisly Desire will be joining the staff as an offensive grad assistant.

Austin Peay (FCS - TN): Austin Peay has a grad assistant opening on the defensive side (prefer defensive back experience). Candidate must have a 2.5 undergrad GPA with a 140/140 GRE. Starting date is immediate. Compensation is $5200, plus full tuition. Call head coach, Kirby Cannon at 931-494-6243.

UCLA: The Bruins will pay their assistant coaches a school-record $2.442 million this season, up nearly 50 percent from $1.645 million in 2011, according to the Los Angeles Times

Towson (FCS - MD): As we reported Tuesday, SMU senior associate AD/external affairs Tim Leonard is the new athletics director at Towson. 

Colorado State: Former Ohio State offensive line intern Ricky Santo is the new offensive grad assistant with the Rams. He will work with the offensive line.

Mississippi State: Sources tell us Jacksonville University defensive backs coach Danny Verpaele has joined the Mississippi State staff as a defensive grad assistant. 

L.A. Pierce College (CC - CA): Former FIU linebackers coach Juan Navarro has now officially joined the Pierce College staff as co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach / assistant head coach.

Marietta College (D-III - OH): A few changes have been made to the staff at Marietta. Assistant coach Dan Starr has been promoted to full time tight ends coach. Ben Jameson (former receiver and punter at Bethel Univeristy) will coach the receivers and also work with the punters and kickers. Kadeem Corbin (who started the last four years in the secondary for Marietta) will work with the defensive backs, and Tim Conner (former Centre College running backs coach) has joined the staff and will coach the running backs.

Coahoma (CC - MS): Former Hinds CC volunteer assistant Chris Mattox has been hired to coach the defensive backs.
