Montana (FCS): Bob Stitt will become the new head coach at Montana according to Fox Sports. We have confirmed the hire as well. Sources tell us that Stitt will retain a portion of the current staff. Will update once more is clear. Our story on the hire.

Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Per source, Central Missouri offensive coordinator Josh Lamberson has agreed to become new head coach at Kearney.

Wisconsin: Barry Alvarez met with Greg Schiano Thursday according to USA Today. ESPN reports the meeting was "real informal".

Auburn: Will Muschamp has agreed to become defensive coordinator at Auburn. Sports Illustrated first reported the news and multiple outlets have now confirmed. Phillip Marshall, who covers Auburn, reports that Travaris Robinson (Florida defensive backs coach, Auburn alum) is expected to join Muschamp. Muschamp will reportedly become the highest paid defensive coordinator in college football.

Florida A&M (FCS): Per source, the three finalists for the job are Joker Phillips, Corey Fuller (FAMU interim head coach) and Willie Simmons (Alcorn State offensive coordinator).

St. Augustine's (D-II - NC): The school has announced that interim head coach Michael Morand will remain on as the team's full-time head coach.

Garden City CC (KS): Per source, Northeastern Oklahoma A&M tight ends / fullbacks / assistant offensive line coach Nate Haremza has accepted the offensive line job on Jeff Sims' staff.

Oregon State: Keegan Andersen, Gary Andersen's oldest of three sons, is joining the staff as a grad assistant. Also, per source DFO Jason Thomas and recruiting coordinator Vince Guinta (both from Wisconsin) will be joining Andersen in Corvallis.

Houston: Will Muschamp has interviewed for the head coaching opening per Joseph Duarte who covers UH for the Houston Chronicle.

Troy: UAB receivers coach Cornelius Williams has been announced as an offensive staff member at Troy.

Wisconsin: Barry Alvarez has released the following statement: "We are continuing the process of finding our new head football coach. We have not offered the position to anyone. In accordance with University of Wisconsin hiring policies, the earliest we could make an offer to a candidate is Wednesday, Dec. 17. Any accepted offer would be contingent upon approval by the UW System Board of Regents."

Nebraska: As part of his bonus structure, Mike Riley will receive: $150,000 for appearing in a bowl game (not included as part of College Football Playoff) with the Huskers, $250,000 for appearing in any College Football Playoff Bowl game, $300,000 for appearing in the College Football Playoff semi-final game, $350,000 for appearing the College Football Playoff National Championship, and $650,000 for winning the College Football Playoff National Championship game.

Ole Miss: Ross Bjork has announced the finalized salary increases for Hugh Freeze and his staff. Freeze's contract has been extended for four years (the max allowed by the state of Mississippi), and his base salary will rise from $3.15 million to $4.3 million annually. His base salary will also increase by $100,000 per year, or 50% of the annual bonuses earned the previous season (whichever is greater). Freeze' salary increases to $5 million should the Rebels advance to the SEC Championship game. The salary pool for his assistant coaches has been increased by at least 25%.

Lenoir-Rhyne (D-II - NC): Lenoir-Rhyne University has open dates for 2015 (9/5). The game must be home and could return date on 9/2/17 or 9/1/18. Would prefer home game but could travel. Please contact Aaron Brock assistant coach

Wisconsin: ESPN is confirming the reports from last night that Pittsburgh head coach Paul Chryst "poised to become the Badgers' new head coach."

Meanwhile, change remains the only constant at Pittsburgh.

Wilkes University (D-III - PA): Former head coach Frank Sheptock has been named head coach at his alma mater, Mount Carmel HS (PA).
