Delta State: Sources tell us Mike DuBose has a very good shot at getting the Delta State job.

Western Carolina: Mark Spier's contract runs through June 2016 and pays him $167,500 per year. 

Western Carolina: We hear that interim head coach / defensive line / recruiting coordinator Mark Rhea and wide receivers coach Arketa Banks will be retained. 

Cornell: The defensive coordinator position is open. 

Purdue: Danny Hope has received a two year extension (through December 2016). 

Calgary Stampeders: We hear Dave Walkosky has been promoted to defensive coordinator of the Stampeders. 

Wyoming: We hear that Chris Tormey will be the new defensive coordinator at Wyoming. Tormey most recently served as the linebackers coach at Washington State.

North Alabama: Sources tell us Bobby Wallace will be named head coach at North Alabama. Wallace was head coach there from '88-'97, then at Temple for 7 seasons and last served as head coach at West Alabama from 2006-2010. Wallace won three consecutive D-II national championships from '93-'95. 

Virginia: Mike London and his family have pledged $225,000 towards the building of a new indoor practice facility. Commitment. 

Northern Illinois: After a very good first season, NIU has rewarded head coach Dave Doeren with a one year extension (through June 2017) and a raise from $371k to $420k per year. 

Lindsey Wilson College (NAIA - KY): is accepting applications for an Assistant Football Coach (Restricted Earnings) to coach Tight Ends. Responsibilities include coaching the tight ends, recruiting, video editing, assisting with the strength and conditioning program, and other duties within the football program. Lindsey Wilson College is a member of the Mid-South Conference of the NAIA. This position will begin in mid-January. Compensation includes a small stipend, housing, and meals. Graduate classes are not included, but could become available in the future.
