Alcorn: We're hearing changes are happening. Don't have the details; but expect a bunch of changes over the next few days. 

Kansas: We hear to look for Florida grad assistant Jeff Blasko to go with Charlie Weis to Kansas. 

Arizona: Rich Rod has retained / hired offensive line coach Robert Anae. 

Baylor: Art Briles has agreed to an extension. Don't have the dollar details yet; but we hear it's significant. 

Arkansas: Petrino has hired Paul Haynes from Ohio State to be his new defensive coordinator. 

Coastal Carolina: David Bennett will not return as head coach. 

Kansas: Charlie Weis announced that running backs coach (and interim head coach) Reggie Mitchell will remain on the staff. 

Dakota Wesleyan: We hear defensive coordinator Ross Cimpl will serve as interim head coach. 

Illinois: Tim Beckman's agreement is 5 years, $9 million "guaranteed dollars" ($1.8 million per year). 

Arkansas: Paul P will earn $425,000 in salary and another $50,000 for speaking engagement fees. 

Texas Tech: Defensive line coach Sam McElroy, corners coach Otis Mounds and offensive line coach Matt Moore have all been released. 

Howard Payne (DIII - TX): We hear that head coach Steve Fanara has been relieved of his duties.

Wide Receivers Coach of the Year: Take a freshman and a sophomore and make them the most feared duo in the country...

Saint Mary (NAIA - KS): The University of Saint Mary, located in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a Defensive Graduate Assistant coach with experience playing or coaching Line Backers or Defensive Backs. The candidate must be admitted into the graduate program for consideration. The GA position is 2 year position with tuition and room only. Responsibilities will include coaching either LB’s or DB’s; recruiting; monitoring student-athlete academic success; assistance with the strength and conditioning program and other duties assigned by the head coach. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled; graduate classes begin January 2. Toledo: Offensive coordinator Matt Campbell will serve as interim head coach. 

Simon Fraser (DII -CANADA): POSITION: Offense. This full-time (12-month) position will report to the Head Football Coach and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the University’s intercollegiate football program. The selected individual will oversee the structure of the offensive unit, coordinate two Special Teams, coach a position group, and serve as an offensive consultant. The selected individual will oversee and mentor assistant coaches, assist with all aspects of game and practice preparations, evaluate personnel as well as mentor and monitor the student-athletes progress on and off-the-field. A strong emphasis on NCAA compliance procedures and a personal commitment to following the rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division II, the GNAC, and Simon Fraser University. Candidate must have knowledge of NCAA recruiting regulations. Required: BA/BS degree, 10+ years of college coaching experience. Candidate must have experience coordinating an Offense and Special Teams at the college level, and experience with no-huddle concepts. The selected individual will be held accountablein the recruitment, and retention, of outstanding student athletes. West coast recruiting experience is essential (High School and Junior College), and a history with the organization of both individual skill development camps, and summer team camps. Ohio State: We are told that Tom Herman will serve as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. 

North Carolina: Local media in Chapel Hill are reporting that Fedora's agreement is 7 years at $1.73 million per ($350k in base salary, $1.35 million in supplemental pay and $30k in allowances). 

Tulane: Tulane head coach Curtis Johnson has hired Eric Price from Memphis to be his offensive coordinator. 

Dakota Wesleyan (NAIA): Head coach Brad Pole has resigned.

Slippery Rock (DII - PA): Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Vic Campagna has decided to step down effective in January.

Illinois: We have now confirmed that Tim Beckman has accepted the Illinois head coaching position. 

Illinois: We have no reason to believe Tim Beckman won't be named head coach at Illinois today. 

Florida: Will Muschamp says running backs coach Brian White will call the plays in the bowl game. He added that he will hire a new offensive coordinator and they will remain a pro style offense. As you can see in our video of the day on the homepage, in his remarks he appears to contradict the CBS Sports report that he was unaware of Charlie Weis interviewing with Kansas.

FAU: We are told to look for former Nebraska defensive backs coach Marvin Sanders to have an opportunity to join Carl Pelini's staff at FAU. We also hear current Nebraska intern (and former Husker quarterback) Joe Ganz might make the trip south as well.
