There will be a memorial service today in Newport News, VA for longtime coach Eddie Davis who passed away during the season. During his career, Coach Davis coached at Rice, Texas Tech, Temple, James Madison, Northeastern, Dean College and Christopher Newport (along with a number of high school programs in Texas). Please keep his wife Dianne and their family in your prayers today.
Arkansas State: As was previously reported, Trooper Taylor was officially announced tonight as the Red Wolves' cornerbacks coach.
Dallas Cowboys: The Cowboys are discussing the addition of former Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Scott Linehan as their play-caller according to Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen of ESPN.
Wisconsin: Wisconsin tweeted tonight that Gary Anderson's contract has been extended through Jan. 31, 2019. Expect a formal announcement soon.
Virginia Tech: Stacy Searles has been announced as the offensive line coach.
Vanderbilt: Longtime NFL vet and former Titans defensive backs coach Brett Maxie is joining the staff as secondary coach.
Blinn JC (TX): Former NDSCS head coach Chuck Parsons is joining the staff as offensive coordinator per sources.
The Citadel (FCS - SC): New head coach Mike Houston has received a five-year contract worth $210,000 annually, with up to $61,000 in incentives.
Houston: Defensive coordinator David Gibbs has received a two-year contract extension.
Virginia Tech: Cincinnati's Whit Babcock will be Virginia Tech's new athletics director according to Hokies beat writer David Teel.
Houston Texans: Doug Colman has been hired as the team's assistant special teams coach.
Stanford: Outside linebackers coach Lance Anderson has officially been promoted to defensive coordinator. Here's what you need to know.
Vanderbilt: The school has announced seven members of Derek Mason's coaching staff: Karl Dorrell (offensive coordinator), David Kotulski (defensive coordinator), Charles Bankins (running backs/special teams), Gerry Gdowski (wide receivers), Kevin Lightner (offensive line), Kenwick Thompson (outside linebackers), and Vavae Tata (defensive line).
Highland Community College (KS): Assistant head coach and offensive line coach Aaron Arnold is the new head coach.
Detroit Lions: Alan Williams is the new defensive backs coach, and the Detroit Free-Press reports the team also plans to add former Arizona Cardinals linebackers coach Matt Raich as a defensive quality control assistant.
Samford (FCS - AL): Samford has hired Chris Boone to coach the defensive line.
San Diego Chargers: The Chargers have announced the hiring of Pete Metzelaars as tight ends coach.
North Carolina: The hiring of Seth Littrell has been formally announced. Littrell will be Larry Fedora's assistant head coach for offense/tight ends coach, while wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer and offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic have been named co-offensive coordinators.
Tampa Bay Bucs: The club has announced the hirings of Mike Phair as assistant defensive line coach, and Carlos Polk as assistant special teams coach.
Worcester State: Sources tell us thatTom Dumont, an assistant coach at Groton-Dunstable HS (MA) is the new linebackers coach.
Lagrange (D-III - GA): Sources tell us that former Arkansas Baptist assistant Kendall Todd will be the new defensive line coach at Lagrange College.
Army: Sources tell us that former Wake Forest defensive line coach Ray McCartney will be the new defensive line coach at Army.

Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins will interview New England Patriots director of pro personnel Nick Caserio for their vacant GM job today according to Adam Schefter.
Dakota State (NAIA - SD): Dakota State University located in Madison, SD (45 minutes Northwest of Sioux Falls) is looking for a scrimmage this fall for August 23rd or sooner. Penn State: Just recapping James Franklin's staff; Bob Shoop (defensive coordinator / safeties), John Donovan (offensive coordinator / tight ends), Charles Huff (special teams coordinator / running backs), Brent Pry (assistant head coach / co-defensive coordinator / linebackers), Josh Gattis (offensive recruiting coordinator / receivers), Herb Hand (run game coordinator / offensive line), Ricky Rahne (pass game coordinator / quarterbacks), Terry Smith (defensive recruiting coordinator / corners), Sean Spencer (defensive line). Seven of the assistant come directly from Vandy (and Charles Huff was part of Franklin's staff the first season with the 'Dores).
Houston Texans: Reports out of Houston state Bob Ligashesky will be retained as the Texans' special teams coordinator.
Coastal Carolina (FCS - SC): Ryan Goodman is the new linebackers coach at Coastal Carolina.
North Dakota State (FCS): The school has formally announced the hirings of Atif Austin (wide receivers), Joe Klanderman (defensive backs) and Tyler Roehl (tight ends/fullbacks).
Minot State (D-II - ND): Minot State has named three finalists for the school's head coaching position: Wayne State defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich, former Minnesota State Mankato head coach Todd Hoffner and Wisconsin-Stevens Point offensive coordinator Aaron Vlcko.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals have hired Brian Braswell as assistant offensive line coach.
Florida International: Head coach Ron Turner has formally announced the hiring of running backs coach Kerry Dixon II, linebackers coach Rob Harley and special teams coach Shannon Moore.
Anna Maria College (D-III - MA): Head coach Vince Sinagra has been named athletic director. Sinagra will also continue his duties as head football coach.
St. John Fisher (D-III - NY): St. John Fisher, is looking for a game in the 2014 season for the week of September 13th or October 25th. We are looking for a home/home series and would be willing to travel this upcoming season. We would also entertain a one year opponent and be willing to travel. Lamar (FCS - TX): Sources tell us that Sam Houston State defensive backs coach Ben Beasley has joined the staff and will coach the defensive backs.
Illinois: The contract extension for athletic director Mike Thomas that was proposed by trustees back on January 10th has been approved. Thomas' extension takes him through August of 2019 and bumps his pay to $554,320, making him the sixth highest paid AD in the Big Ten.
Ohio State: Defensive line coach / assistant head coach Larry Johnson will earn $400,000 per year, and co-defensive coordinator / safeties coach Chris Ash will make $520,000 annually.
Tampa Bay Bucs: Quinn Tedford and Miles Smith will join Lovie Smith's staff as interns, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Quinn is the son of offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford, and Miles is the son of head coach Lovie Smith.
