Buffalo Bills: The Bills tweeted tonight that they have "formally interviewed Chip Kelly, Doug Marrone and Lovie Smith." 

South Dakota State (FCS): Running backs coach Lee Marks has resigned. We hear South Dakota State is looking for candidates to fill the position. 

Arkansas State: Earlier today, Bryan Harsin announced that Lee Marks (see above) has accepted an assistant director of strength & conditioning position at Arkansas State. 

UC Davis (FCS): Sources tell us Idaho State outside receivers coach Anthony Tucker will join the UC Davis staff as receivers coach. 

Purdue: Darrell Hazell plans to bring Jon Heacock, running backs coach Jafar Williams, linebackers coach Marcus Freeman, strength coach Doug Davis and DFO Tommy Cook according to the Akron Beacon Journal. 

Georgia: Mississippi State defensive line coach Chris Wilson has been hired to coach the defensive line at Georgia. 

Cal: Sources tell us LA Tech grad assistant Zach Yenser (who assistant Petey Perot) will join Sonny Dykes staff. Chris Thomsen who was headed there as offensive line coach appears headed to Arizona State as running backs coach filling the position he originally had a year ago. Wow. 

Bethany College (KS): Head coach Jamie Cruce has resigned.

Clemson: Former N.C. State defensive backs coach Mike Reed has now officially been named to the same position at Clemson. 

Mississippi State: Dan Mullen's contract will be extended one year (to a 4 year deal) per Brandon Marcello with the Clarion Ledger. Mullen makes about $2.6 million per year. 

Kent State: Purdue offensive line coach Shawn Clark will join Paul Haynes' staff at Kent State.

Nevada: Chris Murray reports that Nevada interviewed multiple candidates in Dallas yesterday including Chris Klenakis, Tom Mason and Brian Polian. Nevada is expecting to have their new head coach named one week from today. We continue to hear that Jim Mastro is a very strong candidate. 

Morehead State: Kentucky grad assistant Andre Woodson has accepted the wide receivers job.

South Florida: Willie Taggart has officially released Carl Franks, Rich Rachel and Pat Burnham who were all part of Skip Holtz' (and Jim Leavitt's) staff. 

Nebraska Wesleyan (D-III/NAIA): Nebraska Wesleyan in Lincoln, NE is looking to fill an open date in 2013 and 2014. Open date in 2013 is September 7 and September 6 for 2014. Please contact head coach Brian Keller at 402-465-2354 or bjk@nebrwesleyan.edu

University of La Verne (D-III - CA): The University of La Verne is looking for games on 09/13/2014 and 09/12/2015. Please contact head coach Chris Krich at ckrich@laverne.edu if interested.

Evangel University (NAIA - Springfield, MO): Evangel has wide receivers and tight ends restricted earnings / GA spots available. Stipend for each is $8,000 for 10 months. Housing included. Possibility of camps and graduate classes. MANY other football duties as assigned. Start date as soon as possible. Auburn: Gus has hired Tim Horton from Arkansas to coach the tight ends. That's an interesting hire. Gus has put together a nice staff. 

Boston College: Steve Addazio has named Ben Albert defensive line coach. Albert coached the outside linebackers for Addazio at Temple last season. 

BYU: Sources tell us that Robert Anae has asked Brandon Doman to stay on as quarterbacks coach. 

Mississippi State: Dan Mullen announced earlier today that he has promoted Geoff Collins to defensive coordinator. Chris Wilson remains on the staff at this time as defensive line coach. 

Western Illinois (FCS): Sources tell us that Northern Iowa defensive coordinator Matt Entz has accepted a position on Bob Nielsen's staff at Western Illinois. 

BYU: Arizona offensive line coach Robert Anae has accepted the BYU offensive coordinator role. Sources tell us that offensive line coach Mark Weber has accepted a postion on Matt Wells' staff at Utah State and that all other offensive staff at BYU will "reapply" for roles moving forward. Will update. 

Cal: Louisiana Tech offensive grad assistants Hunter McWilliams and Jacob Peeler are following Sonny Dykes to Cal.

Ferris State (D-II - MI): Ferris State University, competing in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, is looking for a home and home contract for 2013 and 2014. Prefer a home game in 2013 on September 6th or 7th and would play away in 2014 on September 5th or 6th. Pomona College (D-III - CA): The Department of Physical Education is currently accepting applications for a full-time staff position- Assistant Coach- Football (fall) / Women’s Sport (spring). This position will serve as an assistant coach for the Football program in the fall and serve as an assistant coach for a Women’s Varsity Team in the winter or spring. Responsibilities in the Football program include: defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator, and assist with the strength and conditioning program. Duties for the Women’s Sport (winter/spring) will be assigned by the head coach / AD. Kansas City Chiefs: General manager Scott Pioli has been let go. Update> Mort is reporting that Andy Reid has agreed to become the new head coach of the Chiefs. 

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Jags are interviewing New York Giants executive Marc Ross today for the general manager job.

Appalachian State: Sources tell us that Wofford defensive coordinator Nate Woody will be the new defensive coordinator at Appalachian State.

Presbyterian: Sources tell us that former Louisiana Tech defensive coordinator Tommy Spangler has an offer to return as defensive coordinator.

San Diego Chargers: Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco will interview for the GM position today, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.

Iowa: University of Miami offensive grad assistant DJ Hernandez announced on twitter last night that he has accepted the tight ends job at Iowa

Utah State: Look for Iowa State tight ends coach Luke Wells to join his brother Matt's staff at Utah State. Sources tell us Luke will serve as co-offensive coordinator / tight ends / recruiting coordinator. 

Tennessee Titans: John Shoop has interviewed for the quarterbacks job with the Titans per Jim Wyatt. 

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University, competing in the Great American Conference, is looking for a home or away game for September 28th, 2013. If interested, please contact offensive coordinator Dean Norsworthy at dnorsworthy@atu.edu.

Knox College (D-III - IL): a member of MWC, has a restricted earnings position open for a Defensive Coach. Responsibilities include coaching your own position, recruiting both on and off campus, working with special teams, and other duties assigned by the head coach. The position pays $1,000 stipend a month over 10 months and includes a campus meal when classes are in session. There is no housing or other benefits. The position can start immediately. Ken Dalton, longtime head coach at McQueen high school in Reno, NV has passed away. Coach Dalton won 6 state championships and is missed by many. Please keep his family in your prayers.
