Detroit Lions: The Lions have announced Central Michigan defensive backs coach Archie Collins, Florida A&M offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Quinn Gray, Montana co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Kefense Hynson, and Anacosita High School (Washington, D.C.) head coach Cato June - who won a Super Bowl with the Colts under Jim Caldwell - have joined the staff as Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship Interns.
New Orleans Saints: Nicholls State (FCS - LA) linebacker coach Charles Boyd, as well as Parisi Speed School program director and former NFL defensive back Kerry Joseph are participating in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program with the Saints.
Misericordia (D-III - PA): Misericordia University invites applications for a graduate assistant of football (RBs). The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning of practices, game preparation, administrative duties, scouting and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress. A Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. Previous participation and/or coaching experience are preferred. Preference will be given to applicants who can coach running backs. This position includes eighteen (18) credits of graduate level classes (per year), a generous stipend, and a meal plan. This 10 month appointment is renewable for a maximum of two years. MacMurray (D-III - IL): MacMurray College invites applications for a WR or RB intern assistant coach. Responsibilities include: coaching your own position, recruiting, assisting with video (HUDL experience is a plus), and equipment. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree, playing and/or coaching experience, excellent communication skills. On-campus housing and meals will be provided but there is no stipend for this position. Candidates must demonstrate a passion to coach and mentor young men, understand appropriate teaching methods, and cooperate well within a coaching staff.
