Faulkner University: Our sources tell us that MTSU offensive grad assistant Nick Coleman has accepted the quarterbacks job and Tarleton State offensive grad assistant Brandon Slay has accepted the offensive line job.

Nevada: We have learned that Portland State running backs coach / run game coordinator Dave Brown has accepted the director of football operations job at Nevada.

UNC: Linebackers coach Art Kaufman will assume the role of defensive coordinator. It will be interesting to see if Withers adds former UNC assistant John Lovett to the staff to coach the safeties. Lovett coached at UNC with Withers for two years before leaving to become the defensive coordinator at Miami (FL). He is now the special teams coordinator with the Hartford Colonials. Lovett coached with Kaufman under Tommy Tuberville at Ole Miss.

Winston Salem State: We have learned that former Virginia Union assistant Jason Mai has accepted the tight ends / director of football operations job at Winston Salem State.

MacMurray College: (NCAA D3) in Jacksonville, IL is seeking candidates for a GA Football/Baseball Coach/Resident Life Liaison. The football coaching position will be either RBs or DBs. The position pays a small stipend and housing. Position begins as soon as possible and must be ready to work by Aug 8th. Kansas City Chiefs: We hear Colorado School of Mines defensive line coach Satyen Bhakta will participate in the Bill Walsh NFL minority internship with the Chiefs during training camp.
