Auburn: Rhett Lashlee has received an extension (through June 2017) and a raise to $600,000 per year. Defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson was also extended through June 2017 and a raise to $800,000 per year. Rodney Garner (DL) now makes $500,000 (3 yr deal), Dameyune Craig (WR) now makes $500,000 (3 yr deal), Charlie Harbison (DBs) will now make $500,000 (3 yr deal), J.B. Grimes (OL) now makes $370,000 (2 yr deal), Scott Fountain (special teams coordinator) makes $325,000 (2 yr deal), Tim Horton (RB) makes $325,000 (2 yr deal), Melvin Smith (DBs) makes $325,000 (2 yr deal), Ryan Russell (strength) makes $285,000 (2 yr deal). Gus' new deal (previously announced) will pay him $3.85 million this year and then will increase by $250,000 per year through 2019. Gus will also receive $140,000 per year for the next 5 to "offset his buyout to Arkansas State". Ok then.

Illinois: Illinois is seeking applicants for a player personnel grad assistant. The qualified candidate must have a graphic arts/graphic design background as they will be the lead designer of all graphic recruiting publications that come out of the University of Illinois football recruiting office. They will also track the recruiting board(s) as well as manage and input information into recruiting software. Assist with all high school clinics and unofficial and official visits on a year round basis. They will also assist with summer camps. Appointment can either be as a graduate assistant, upon successful admission into the Graduate College OR as a stipend paid hourly position. Menlo College (NAIA - CA): Menlo College is seeking a Special Teams coordinator/defensive position coach. This is a full time position with benefits included. This position is responsible for managing the special teams, coaching a defensive position, recruiting own area, holding special teams and position meetings, assisting with day-to-day operations, special teams/defensive practice preparation, managing the equipment room and any other areas assigned by the Head Coach. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with college coaching or playing experience preferred. Mercyhurst (D-II - PA): Mercyhurst University is seeking one full time offensive assistant. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience coaching offensive skill positions (QB/WR). Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist head coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of a competitive football program. Specific responsibilities include identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student- athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation. Earlham College (D-III - IN): Earlham is seeking applicants for a Defensive coordinator position. This opportunity is a 10-month contract. Experience coaching defense is REQUIRED for the position. Defensive line experience and play calling experience preferred. The opportunity also includes coaching special teams, recruiting responsibilities, and academic monitoring of students.
