Illinois: Mike Bellamy, who coached the receivers last season for the Illini and is a former player for the program, will not be a part of Lovie's staff going forward.

Hamline University (D-III - MN): Hamline has promoted defensive coordinator Charles "Chip" Taylor Jr. to the head coaching position. Taylor Jr. has been on staff the past three seasons and replaces Chad Rogosheske, who recently took the head coaching job at Capital (D-III - OH).

Western New Mexico (D-II): Per source,Chris Buckner, the former recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach at North Carolina Central (FCS) has accepted the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks job at Western New Mexico.

Guilford College (D-III - NC): Guilford has an opening for an assistant football coach (Defensive Backs). Will coach own position and be responsible for own recruiting area. Lake Forest (D-III - IL): Lake Forest College has hired former Sacred Heart (FCS - CT) assistant coach Matt Gardner to coach the quarterbacks and serve as passing game coordinator. Gardner replaces Chris Messina, who left the staff to rejoin the corporate world.

Paul Petrino: Sources tell FootballScoop Paul Petrino has turned down the opportunity to become offensive coordinator at Louisville and will remain head coach at Idaho.

Union (D-III - NY): Union College has announced the additions of Rick Flanders (DC / secondary coach) and Ben Martin (OC / OL coach). Flanders previously spent 24 seasons in the Ivy League at Penn and Yale and at Yale last season he served as defensive coordinator /associate head coach), and Martin has previous coaching stops with the Miami Dolphins, Wagner College, and Princeton. With the Dolphins the last two seasons, Martin served as an offensive assistant.

Shaw (D-II - NC): Former Mississippi Valley State (FCS) offensive analyst Jamar Harp has joined the staff at Shaw as offensive line coach / run game coordinator and recruiting assistant, per source.

Coe College (D-III - IA): Coe College is now accepting applications for the position of intern assistant football coach. This position is a nine month appointment beginning August 1, 2016 and is eligible for an annual stipend and organizational benefits. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruitment of student-athletes on and off-campus, on field coaching, practice planning, monitoring student-athlete academic progress, video editing with Hudl and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach. UTSA: UTSA will pay Larry Coker $650,000, according to the San Antonio Express-Times as part of a settlement that the two parties have agreed to. The settlement saves the university nearly $1 million as Coker's contract outlined a $1.56 million buyout over time, but instead Coker has agreed to take a lump-sum payment of $550,000 with an addition $100,000 coming in October.

Fairleigh Dickinson (D-III – NJ): Fairleigh Dickinson University has an opening for an intern assistant coach position from August until May. Compensation will be $7,000 and nine credits toward a Master’s degree. Many opportunities for professional development will be covered and there will be money available for the NCAA Convention. There are also opportunities to earn money out of season on campus. There is no housing, meals or benefits included. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching your own position, recruiting your own area (all expenses covered), academic monitoring, video, strength and conditioning and assisting the head coach in all phases of the program.
