Please keep Wingate University assistant coach Mike Pope in your prayers. Coach Pope has had to cancel his Hawg Tuff football camp due to a serious illness, and your prayers would be greatly appreciated.

New York Jets: The Jets have hired Johnathan Stigall and Seth Turner as scouts. Stilgall spent the past four years as a scout for the Cleveland Browns, and before that worked for the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears. Turner spent the previous 13 years in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization.

Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester University anticipates an opening for an offensive intern. This is a 10-Month position with an earnings cap of $12,500 and includes health benefits, optional dorm housing if available, and meal plan. Offensive position is TBD and at this time we are asking that resumes to be sent to Shannon Griffith at Preferred qualifications are minimum 2 years of college coaching, knowledge of spread offense, recruiting experience, and Hudl experience. Start date is August 1st. Please no phone calls at this time.

Austin Peay: Offensive grad assistant Brandon Jordan has been promoted to defensive line coach and Leron Eaddy, who played for head coach Kirby Cannon at Central Michigan, will coach the defensive backs with Cannon.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Former Syracuse offensive line coach Pat Perles has joined the staff as a player personnel scout. Perles originally accepted the offensive line job with the Toronto Argonauts earlier this year, but never officially joined the staff. Also, Shelton Quarles is transitioning from director of pro scouting to to director of player personnel, Scott Cohen is moving from senior personnel advisor to director of pro scouting, and Andre Ford, Tony Harde, Byron Kiefer and Tony Kinkela all return as college scouts along with the addition of Brian Hudspeth, who was a national scout last year.

Salisbury (D-III - MD): Salisbury University has an opening for an intern position for the 2014-2015 academic year. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching a position, maintaining a recruiting territory, and film breakdown. North Carolina Wesleyan (D-III - NC): NC Wesleyan is no longer accepting applications for the three intern positions. Thank you all for the overwhelming interest.

Buffalo Bills: Syracuse alum and grad assistant Siriki Diabate has been chosen by the Bills to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship program.

Morrisville State (D-III - NY): Former Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (D-III - CA) offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Patrick Rotchford is joining the staff as offensive line coach / run game coordinator. Also Taylor Hall, who served as linebackers coach at Pace University (D-II - NY), is joining the staff and will coach the safeties.
