Let us know what you hear. Since 1999, all sources remain confidential. Mail@FootballScoop.com or call / text 225.229.3429.

FAU: Sources tonight are telling us tonight that former Arizona head coach Mike Stoops has been offered the FAU head job. We are told it's not a done deal yet.

New York Jets: In an interesting move, the Jets have announced that this past off-season they extended the contracts of both offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer and defensive coordinator Mike Pettine through next season. Nothing unusual about extending them during the off-season. Announcing it now?

Miami: Al Golden has agreed to an extension through February 1, 2020 with Miami. Yes, you read that right, 2020. Terms of the agreement, which the University announced during the 4th quarter (?) of their game today with Boston College, were not disclosed.

Loras College (DIII - IA): We hear that a defensive position is open. We have been told that linebackers coach Josh Edwards will be promoted to defensive coordinator to replace Gavin McMacken who resigned for family reasons.

Georgia Tech: Paul Johnson said recently that he expects Al Groh to return.

South Dakota: Offensive coordinator Wesley Beschorner has been named interim head coach during the "national" search.
