Texas A&M: A&M President Bowen Loftin said today that Bill Byrne will not continue to serve as AD past the end of his current contract (Aug 2013). 

Guilford College: Guilford is no longer accepting resumes for the secondary position. 

Arkansas: Jeff Long released a statement a few minutes ago saying he would not make the announcement over the weekend, noting, "My hope is that by sharing this information today, we may focus our attention this weekend on supporting our coaches and football student-athletes at the spring game."

University of Minnesota Crookston(D-II): Minnesota Crookston is looking for a quarterback / receivers coach that will have the additional task of handling recruiting coordinator duties. This will be a full-time posiion with an excellent benefit package. Demonstrated expertise in coaching the QB position is preferred. Concordia University, St. Paul (D-II): Concordia is seeking applicants for an offensive grad assistant / receivers coach. The person in this position is responsible for coaching the Wide Receivers. This will include all phases of the football program including coaching the Wide Receivers, recruiting, managing academics for your position, assisting with the in-season and out-of-season player development, film breakdown and editing. Duties are performed within the framework of the NSIC and NCAA rules and regulations. This coach is expected to promote good public relations and perform other athletic related duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree required; coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred; computer knowledge/abilities required; knowledge of NSIC and NCAA rules desirable; demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral, written and communication skills required; applicants will be required to successfully complete an interview and/or demonstration. Full Time Graduate Assistant Position, the position pays $3,500 in 2 separate stipends ($2,000 in Fall & $1,500 in Spring) 18 month Graduate school program, tuition is completely waived, Must dedicate to completing the Master’s Program in Full. Please submit a cover letter, references and resume to Concordia University, St. Paul Head Football Coach Ryan Williams at rwilliams@csp.edu.

Newberry College: Offensive line coach Cedric Williams has accepted an NFL minority internship with the Carolina Panthers.

Steve Sarkisian: Yesterday, rumors began to run wild within the state of Arkansas that Steve Sarkisian had a huge offer to become the new head coach at Arkansas. Rumors aren't a good thing. We spoke with sources close to the situation who told us there was nothing to it, no contact has been made. 

Charleston Southern: Defensive line coach Rashan Frost has accepted the head coaching position at North Charleston HS. 

NFL / NCAA Coaches Academy: The NFL is in the process of notifying those coaches that have been selected to participate in this year's Coaches Academy to be held in May in Dallas. They tell us they will have the full list of participants next week. We'll keep you posted. 

Cumberland CC (NJ): Bob Amundson, former assistant coach at Lehigh and Rowan, has been promoted to Athletic Director at Cumberland.
