Let us know what you hear. Since 1999, all sources remain confidential. or call / text 225.229.3429

Houston: Tonight we're hearing that Dave Christensen of Wyoming has an offer from Houston and that Wyoming is trying to convince him (i.e. trying to structure an extension with some significant additional $s) to stay in Wyoming.

Arizona State: We have learned that Bob Connelly is also joining the staff. Connelly was the co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach at UTEP this past season.

New Haven (DII - CT): The University of New Haven (D-II) has an open date Sept 29, 2012. We are looking for a home and home. Please contact Head Coach Pete Rossomando at

Pitt: Two other names that sources tell us have interviewed are Pat Narduzzi (defensive coordinator at Michigan State) and Mario Cristobal (head coach at FIU).

Arizona State: We hear that Todd Graham has added Chris Ball to his staff. Ball served as the co-defensive coordinator last season at Washington State.

Iowa State: We have been told that each of the assistants will be receiving better agreements as well.

Mark Richt: For what it's worth...Richt is making some statements today. Says no one connected to him ever spoke with A&M, says he hasn't heard a word from Penn State, says the details of his extension at Georgia are still being worked out...

Averett University (DIII - VA): Averett University invites applications for an Full-time Assistant Football Coach. Responsibilities: Assist head coach with organization and supervision of the football program including: serve as pass game coordinator/quarterback coach, recruitment of qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success, compliance with NCAA, USASAC, and AU rules and regulations; practice and conditioning; scouting; budget management; fundraising activities and promotions; organizing and directing camps and clinics; equipment management; other duties as assigned. Not saying that's the whole list, just that those are the ones that have been reported thus far. Have to Hard to (typo) believe that Rich Miano and Nick Rolovich won't have the same access.

Texas Southern: We have the best viewership here's what we have learned...3 finalists were each interviewed twice last week. Some believe the new coach could be announced today or within days. The search seems to have been somewhat complicated because the administration wants the new coach to retain much of the existing staff. As always...we'll keep you posted.

Southern Miss: Source called back...said Ellis Johnson was very, very impressive as well (that probably doesn't surprise anyone reading this page). He says he expects something to happen with one of the candidates no later than Monday and very possibly today.

Coaches of the Year: What the FCS Coordinator of the Year (Scott Stoker) has accomplished this season is awfully impressive.
