Temple: Sources close to the program tell us that next week Steve Addazio will announce Matt Rhule and Ryan Day as co-offensive coordinators. Day will join the staff after serving as receivers coach at Boston College for the past four seasons. 

Northwestern: We hear that Northwestern plans to fill the open defensive grad assistant position from within the program. 

Dakota Wesleyan (NAIA): We hear the offensive coordinator position is still open. 

Southern Miss: We have not confirmed; but multiple sources telling us that former South Carolina assistant Jeep Hunter will be hired to coach the corners at Southern Miss. Update> We have now confirmed. 

Rutgers: Sources tell us to look for Kyle Flood to name Darnell Dinkins his tight ends coach. Dinkins, a former NFL tight end, had a minority internship last season with the Bucs. We also hear current Rutgers running backs coach Chris Hewitt will join the Ravens staff. 

San Francisco 49ers: Gideon Yu has been named President and Co-Owner of the 49ers. Yu has an extensive business background, including working as the Chief Financial Officer of Facebook and YouTube before beginning a career in professional sports management.

Rutgers: Boston College running backs coach Ben Sirmans will be joining the Rutgers staff in the same capacity. We're told to look for special teams coordinator / linebackers coach Robb Smith to be named defensive coordinator as well. Look for an announcement early next week from Kyle Flood on all of his changes. 

Western Kentucky: Willie Taggart has announced some shuffling of the coaching staff. Offensively, Taggart will continue to coach the running backs, Nick Sheridan will serve as the quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator, Terry Obee will coach the receivers, Walt Wells will handle the offensive line / and serve as run game coordinator, Stu Holt will coach the tight ends. On the defensive side of the ball, Raymond Woodie will coach the linebackers, Eric Mathies will handle the defensive line. Karl Maslowski will coach the special teams and the roles of Lance Guidry (defensive coordinator), and Alonzo Hampton (defensive backs) will not change.

San Francisco 49ers: The Niners have announced General Manager Trent Baalke has signed a 3 year contract extension through 2016.

Wake Forest: As we told you a while back, Wake has now officially announced that Jonathan Himebauch will serve as offensive line coach and Derrick Jackson will serve as outside linebackers coach. 

Notre Dame: We have confirmed that University of Buffalo associate head coach Ernest Jones will join Brian Kelly's staff in an off the field capacity. Jones, who coached the corners and led the recruiting efforts at Buffalo, previously coached with Kelly at Central Michigan and at Cincinnati.

Tennessee: Former wide receivers coach Charlie Baggett agreed to a settlement of $425,000 (equal to one year's pay) when he agreed to leave the program. 

Tampa Bay: ESPN is reporting that Giants' quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan is interviewing for the offensive coordinator job with the Bucs. 

Toledo: We hear that Bryce Saia will coach the safeties and we hear that Toledo is currently interviewing guys for the remaining open positions. We hear they had William & Mary defensive backs coach D.K. McDonald Jr. in yesterday for an interview. 

Hardin Simmons (D-III - TX): We have learned that Hardin Simmons has hired Joey McQueen as receivers coach. McQueen is the head coach / AD at Lampasas High School (TX). 

Western Michigan: Northwestern defensive grad assistant Tim McGarigle has been hired to coach the linebackers at Western Michigan. 

Memphis: There is a report out of Memphis that Justin Fuente has hired Adam Lechtenberg as director of player personnel. Lechtenberg is the co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Central Connecticut State. Prior to his two seasons at CCSU, Lechtenberg spent three seasons at TCU. 

Wagner College (FCS - NY): Recapping the new hires at Wagner, Tom Masella is now associate head coach / special teams / secondary, Malik Hall is defensive coordinator and Mike Teel (Kean College) is now quarterbacks coach. 

Tarleton State: Chad Raymond, offensive line coach at New Mexico Highlands, has been hired in the same capacity at Tarleton State. 

Notre Dame: Recapping Brian Kelly’s staff; Bob Diaco (assistant head coach / defensive coordinator / linebackers), Kerry Cooks (co-defensive coordinator / corners), Chuck Martin (offensive coordinator / quarterbacks), Tony Alford (running backs / slot receivers / recruiting coordinator), Scott Booker (tight ends / special teams coordinator), Mike Denbrock (outside receivers / pass game coordinator), Bob Elliot (safeties), Mike Elston (defensive line), Harry Hiestand (offensive line), Josh Reardon (defensive GA), Pat Welsh (offensive GA), Bill Brechin (offensive intern), David Grimes (defensive intern).

Illinois: Tim Beckman’s assistants salaries have been released; co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach Billy Gonzales ($400,000), co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks Chris Beatty ($400,000), defensive coordinator Tim Banks ($400,000), offensive line coach Luke Butkus ($200,000), linebackers coach Mike Ward ($200,000), defensive line coach Keith Gilmore ($200,000), special teams / running backs coach Tim Salem ($200,000), tight ends coach / specialists / recruiting coordinator Alex Golesh ($150,000), corners coach Steve Clinkscale ($150,000).

Air Force: Sources tell us that Wake Forest secondary coach Steve Russ will join the Air Force staff as co-defensive coordinator, secondary / assistant head coach.

Ohio State: Ohio State has announced that they will host Buffalo September 21, 2013. As part of the agreement, Ohio State will pay Buffalo $1 million. 

Hampton: We hear the offensive coordinator job is open. 

Delta State: We hear Jonathon Chadwell will serve as an offensive consultant at Delta State. 

Coffeyville Community College: Coffeyville is no longer accepting resumes. 

Appalachian State: We hear that Gardner-Webb offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford will be named offensive line coach at Appalachian State.

South Carolina: Steve Spurrier has received a $425,000 raise to bring his annual compensation to $3.3 million per. Assistant coaching salaries are as follows; defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward ($550,000), offensive line coach / run game coordinator Shawn Elliot ($300,000), defensive line coach Brad Lawing ($300,000), receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Steve Spurrier Jr. ($300,000), G.A Mangus ($175,000), secondary coach Grady Brown ($150,000), linebackers coach Kirk Botkin ($185,000), special teams coordinator / tight ends coach Joe Robinson ($280,000), running backs coach Everette Sands ($185,000).

Alma College (D-III - MI): RJ Chidester has accepted a position to be determined on the offensive side of the ball. Chidester coached the tight ends at Defiance College last season and eventually took over play calling duties.
