Boston College: Our sources tell us that Sacramento Mountain Lions (UFL) offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Mike Kruczek has interviewed for the offensive coordinator job at Boston College.

Michigan State: Our sources tell us that Central Michigan wide receivers coach Terry Samuel has accepted the wide receivers job at Michigan State.

Ole Miss: Offensive coordinator David Lee will earn $450,000 annually on a 3-year deal. Wide receivers coach / passing game coordinator / associate head coach Gunter Brewer will earn $250,000 on a 2-year deal. Defensive backs coach Keith Burns will earn $225,000 on a 1-year deal.

UAB: We've heard that if offensive line coach Will Friend accepts the Georgia offensive line job as expected, Neil Callaway will try to lure Wyoming DFO Rick Mallory to UAB as the offensive line coach.

Stanford: Our sources tell us Stanford defensive assistant Peter Hansen has accepted the defensive quality control job with the 49ers.

Arkansas State: We have just learned that Grant Heard accepted the quarterbacks job at Arkansas State. Heard was the offensive coordinator at Lambuth University when head coach Hugh Freeze served as the head coach.

San Francisco 49ers: We have learned that Oregon State running backs coach Reggie Davis has accepted the tight ends job with the 49ers.

Carolina Panthers: We have confirmed that Wisconsin running backs coach John Settle has accepted the running backs job with the Carolina Panthers.

UCONN: Our sources tell us that Maryland defensive coordinator Don Brown has accepted the same position at UCONN under head coach Paul Pasqualoni.

Colorado State: Defensive line coach Scott Brown shifts to linebackers. Defensive coordinator Larry Kerr will no longer coach the linebackers. He will focus on the defense as a whole. Tight ends coach Todd Stroud shifts from tight ends to defensive line. Corners coach Tim Duffie will now coach the entire secondary. Larry Lewis will now serve as the running backs / special teams / associate head coach. Anthony Hill will coach the tight ends.

Delaware State: We have learned that former Winston Salem State head coach Kermit Blount has accepted the head coaching job at Delaware State.

TCU: We are hearing that Gary Patterson will hire Millsaps College defensive coordinator Trey Haverty as safeties coach. Haverty was the defensive grad assistant at TCU from 2007-2009. 

Wisconsin: We have learned that running backs coach John Settle has accepted a position in the NFL.

Saskatchewan Roughriders: Steve Burrato has accepted the offensive line job. Burrato coached the offensive line last season with the Hamilton TigerCats. Also, defensive line coach Mike Scheper will not return.

Philadelphia Eagles: There is a report that former UNC head coach John Bunting has talked with Andy Reid about the linebackers job.

Nebraska: Bo Pelini is trying to hire Oregon wide receivers coach Scott Frost, a former Nebraska player.

Wyoming: Southwest Minnesota State linebackers coach Danilo Robinson has accepted the defensive line job at Wyoming.

University of Dayton: a member of the Pioneer Football League, is accepting applications for an internship in the position of Assistant Defensive Football Coach. The assistant coach intern will support the head coach in organization, planning and directing all aspects of our Division I football program. Primary responsibilities include: assisting with recruiting student-athletes; training players in team and individual environments; and assisting with sports camps, video editing and assisting with management of office activities. This internship may require some travel, evening and weekend work. Qualified applicants will have a bachelor’s degree (minimum), and possess good organizational, interpersonal and basic computer skills. Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience is required. Experience in sports camps, video editing and strength training is preferred. This is a full time, 9-month position with benefits. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in all aspects of coaching student-athletes and a commitment to the highest ideals of leadership, sportsmanship and academics. Indiana: We hear Central State defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator Ron Carpenter has accepted the defensive quality control job at Indiana.

Western Kentucky: As we alluded to a few weeks ago, former Miami (OH) defensive backs coach Lance Guidry has now officially been hired as the defensive coordinator at Western Kentucky.

Georgia: We are hearing that Mark Richt could be close to hiring UAB offensive line coach Will Friend as offensive line coach. Our source tells us Richt has talked with Friend, who once served as a grad assistant at Georgia under Richt.

Baltimore Ravens: We are hearing the Ravens have hired Hartford Colonels (UFL) offensive line coach Todd Washington as assistant offensive line coach.

Wyoming: Our sources tell us that former Bowling Green head coach Gregg Brandon accepted the offensive coordinator job at Wyoming.

Cal: We hear Jeff Tedford has talked with Marcus Arroyo, who served as the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Wyoming this past year.

Elon University: Our sources tell us that Alabama defensive quality control Danny O'Brien has accepted the defensive backs job. O'Brien is the son of NC State head coach Tom O'Brien.

Northern Michigan University: invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (full-time/restricted earnings). Responsibilities include working with the running backs or receivers. Other duties include assisting the offensive coordinator in the organization and management of the offensive unit within the football program. Knowledge in the DVS system is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree required, along with thorough knowledge of NCAA division 2 regulations, commitment to retention and academic success of student-athletes, recruiting success at the college level, and experience in organizing and motivating players. Bethany College (KS): Defense (DB or LB) Graduate Assistant Football Coach/Video Coordinator (DSV) Located in Lindsborg, KS. Position pays a stipend of $6,000 plus housing. Candidate must be enrolled at least part-time in a graduate program. Responsibilities will include coaching your own position/Supervising weight room/Video editing/Recruiting/Other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Athletic Director Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience, excellent communication and leadership skills. Strength training background a plus.Position start date of August 1st with possibility of earlier start date of this Spring.
