Illinois: Closing the loop from the other day, Tim Beckman says Billy Gonzales will be co-offensive coordinator. 

Oklahoma: Mike Stoops has been co-defensive coordinator with Brent Venables and Willie Martinez has resigned to pursue other opportunities. 

Wheaton College (D-III - IL): We have been told that offensive line coach Geoff Dartt has left to take the same position at Mount Union. We have been told that Wheaton already has their finalists for the vacancy.

Arkansas: Jason Shumaker has been hired as director of high school relations. Shumaker was offensive coordinator at Midland Univ. (NAIA - NE). 

South Carolina: Apparently Spurrier had an afternoon tee time...Kirk Botkin has been hired today as well. Botkin will coach the linebackers. Botkin, a former defensive ends coach at Arkansas, has been coaching at Texas HS (Texarkana, TX) the past two years. 

Jacksonville Jaguars: We hear that defensive line coach Joe Cullen has turned down an offer from the Vikings and will remain with the Jags. 

Central Connecticut State: Tommy Buzzo has accepted the defensive coordinator postion. Buzzo was head coach at Liberty HS (Bealeton, VA). 

Arkansas State: We told you a few weeks ago that Casey Woods would be joining the staff as receivers coach. Today, they announced that he also would serve as recruiting coordinator. Also, we hear that former offensive line coach Darren Hiller will join the strength staff at Ole Miss. 

South Carolina: We hear Joe Robinson has been hired as special teams coordinator. 2010 FootballScoop Special Teams Coordinator of the Year while at LSU (was at UNC this season). 

Alabama: In an interesting move, Sark is now openly speaking about Doug Nussmeier possibly joining the Alabama staff as offensive coordinator. He says the interest between Nuss and Saban is mutual. 

St. Louis Rams: Peter King is reporting that Jeff Fischer will be the new head coach of the Rams. 

Lindsey Wilson College: We have been told that Brient Hobbs has been hired to coach the tight ends. 

Houston: Tony Levine is putting together a nice staff (and interviewing some more guys today). Watch this video and hear Jamie Christian describe interviewing with Tony in San Antonio and then getting the call. 

Kansas: Dave Campo has been named defensive coordinator. Campo had been coaching the defensive backs for the Cowboys. 

South Carolina: Steve Spurrier continues to interview candidates for his open slots today. We expect decisions to be made fairly soon. 

Tennessee: We continue to hear that Dooley is trying to reach an agreement with Rich Bisaccia to join as special teams coordinator. We'll keep you posted. 

South Dakota State: We hear quarterbacks coach Eric Eidsness will be named offensive coordinator. 

Texas A&M: Kenny Bell has come with the group from Houston. He will serve as director of recruiting. 

Boise State: Sources tell us there have been significant talks between Chris Petersen and Montana offensive coordinator Jonathan Smith. 

Murray State: Freddie Roach has been hired to coach the defensive line at Murray State. Roach was coach the defensive line at East Mississippi CC. 

Fresno State: We have learned that running backs coach Joe Wade will be retained. 

Eastern Illinois: We hear that Bethel University (NAIA - TN) head coach Dino Kaklis has resigned to become an assistant at Eastern Illinois.

Tennessee: Sources tell us that UT Martin quarterbacks coach Kyle Manley has accepted an offensive grad assistant job at Tennessee. 

Tulane: We hear longtime BYU assistant Barry Lamb will be joining the staff as special teams coordinator. Lamb was on BYU's staff for 16 seasons; but was not on the staff for the past two seasons.

Berry College (D-III - Rome, GA): New program looking for first head coach. Previous D-III coaching experience is preferred. Additional details of the job and ability to apply online

Tennessee: Sal Sunseri will be named defensive coordinator at UT today. Confirmed.

LSU: We hear a few NFL teams have inquired about special teams coordinator Thomas McGaughey. McGaughey, in his first year at LSU, was a finalist for the 2011 FootballScoop Special Teams Coordinator of the Year. 

Western Carolina: We hear Pat Mills has been hired as tight ends coach. Mills was a grad assistant coaching the tight ends at Concord University (WV). 

Missouri Southern: We hear that Nicholls State defensive line coach Dustin Gisclair is heading to Missouri Southern to serve as the linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator.

Maryland: We have confirmed that defensive coordinator Todd Bradford is no longer with the program.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Mel Tucker will remain as defensive coordinator and Falcons quarterbacks coach Bob Bratkowski will join the staff as offensive coordinator.
