The Staff is travelling to San Antonio tomorrow. We'll update things on twitter from the road and catch up tomorrow afternoon from Texas. Bar Rojo tomorrow night for the Saints game! 

Texas A&M: We hear that Lamar offensive line coach Nathan Reeves will join Sumlin's staff as offensive quality control. 

Houston: Sources tell us that defensive line coach Carlton Hall will be retained. 

Texas A&M: We have learned that Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi received a significant promise from Mark Dantonio and has decided to stay at Michigan State despite a great offer from Kevin Sumlin. 

Penn State: Bill O'Brien is now the head coach at Penn State. 

Troy: We hear defensive tackles coach Mo Crain has been released. 

Tennessee: Sources within UT athletics confirm that Tennessee is "finalizing contract negotiations with Randy Shannon". Plan is to announce on Monday. Sources close to Shannon tell us "security for Randy" is the primary item still being negotiated.

Olivet College (DIII - MI): Former Grand Rapids Catholic Central head coach Tim Rogers has been named the new defensive coordinator at Olivet.

Boston College: We have confirmed that former Ohio State offensive coordinator Jim Bollman has accepted the offensive line job at BC.

Brent Pease: We have learned that Brent Pease will not be named offensive coordinator at Florida today as rumored by many. He has met with Will Muschamp and that could happen. We hear he is set to visit with Saban on Tuesday and then will see what his plans are. 

Pitt: We have learned through multiple sources close to those involved that Joe Rudolph is joining Paul Chryst's staff. 

Tennessee State (FCS): Tennessee State University is seeking an HBCU school to play on September 29, 2012 here in Nashville. We play our home games at LP Field. Please contact Coach Tom Opdenbrouw, Director of Football Operations at 615-963-2136 or if you have interest or any questions.

Minnesota Vikings: We hear that defensive line coach Karl Dunbar is no longer with the Vikings.

Ave Maria (NAIA - FL): Head coach Barry Fagan has stepped down. Assistant to the President Kevin Joyce has taken over as the head coach and athletic director, while Brian Scanlan moved from Athletic Director to Associate Vice President. 

Ole Miss: We have confirmed with multiple sources close to the program, Vanderbilt corners coach Wesley McGriff (aka "crime dog") will be joining Hugh Freeze's staff as co-defensive coordinator / corners coach. 

Tampa Bay: Mike Sherman has interviewed and we've heard word that Tressel might be involved as well. 

San Antonio: If you're looking for a good place to watch the games we recommend Bar Rojo in the Grand Hyatt (immediately to the left of the convention center). Big, nice place, plenty of big TVs for the games and there was some quality talent last time we were there. 

St. Louis Rams: We have confirmed that the Rams reached out to UW to see if Sark would be interested in interviewing. Sark declined. 

Jeff Fisher: Jeff says he's only considering two jobs...Rams or Dolphins. Says he'll decide next week. 

JumpForward: JumpForward is unveiling it's next generation, innovative iPad app at the convention. The app allows coaches to place calls, send Facebook and Twitter messages, track emails and view video all from your iPad.

Pitt: There is plenty of chatter out there that Joe Rudolph will also be joining Paul Chryst's staff. We have not confirmed; but we could see it. They are close. We'll keep you posted. 

Washington State: We hear that a huge number of guys have contacted Leach about serving as defensive coordinator. Sources tell us that Montana defensive coordinator Mike Breske has impressed Leach. We haven't heard that it's a done deal; but Breske might be the one.

Chicago Bears: Mike Tice will be promoted to offensive coordinator (and a passing game coordinator will be hired). 

Illinois: Tim Beckman has announced the hirings of John Hauser as director of player personnel and Aaron Hillmann as head strength and conditioning coach. Hauser was the defensive coordinator at DII Wayne State (MI) last year and Hillmann has over 20 years of strength and conditioning experience, most recently as an assistant at Michigan.

Charleston Southern: Sources tell us that Shawn Quinn will be named defensive coordinator at Charleston Southern. Quinn is the linebackers / recruiting coordinator at Georgia Southern. Charleston Southern is also losing Gabe Giardina to Delta State. Giardina has handled running backs, receivers and special teams at various times while at Charleston Southern. 

Trine University (DIII - IN): Ferris State offensive line coach Eric Ravellette has been hired to coach the offensive line. Troy Abbs has been promoted to full time and will serve as the defensive coordinator, and Jake Kinsey will also serve in a full time role.

Blinn College: Defensive Coordinator Bill Clay has resigned after 40+ years of coaching. He served as the defensive coordinator for 7 D1 programs, position coach for 6 others, HS head coach and assistant with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Coach Clay is well known and very well respected for what he accomplished in his career. His contributions to defensive football include innovations with 8 man front and 4-2-5 concepts. The entire coaching community wishes Mule the best of luck in his new profession as a man of leisure!

Pittsburgh Steelers: We just saw a report that Steelers running backs coach Kirby Wilson "badly burned" in a house fire early this morning and was air-lifted to a hospital. We don't have an update on his condition at this time. Please keep him in your prayers. Great guy. 

Penn State: Adam Schefter is reporting that Titans offensive quality control Charles London will join Bill O'Brien's staff as running backs coach. London coached with O'Brien at Duke in 2005-2006. In 2010, London was a scout for the Eagles and he spent 07-09 as an offensive assistant for the Bears. 

Oakland Raiders: ESPN is reporting that the Raiders will hire Packers director of football operations Reggie McKenzie as their General Manager.

Midwestern State University (D-II - TX): Midwestern State, located in Wichita Falls, TX and playing in the Lone Star Conference, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Offensive Line. Position includes coaching, recruiting, and teaching responsibilities. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred. College coaching experience preferred. St. Louis Rams: The St. Louis Dispatch reported last night that both the Patriots and the Chiefs have asked for permission to speak with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. 

Concord University (DII - WV): Concord University is accepting applications for the position of offensive GA, stipend included. Required Qualifications: A bachelor's degree is required. Please email your letter of interest, resume and references to Garin Justice No phone calls please.

Murray State: Chris Hatcher has received a two year extension (through 2015). Hatch has led the Racers to consecutive winning seasons for the first time in over a decade at Murray. Cousin Keith (secondary / recruiting coordinator) deserves one as well.
