Maryland: We have learned that Pitt defensive line coach / associate head coach Greg Gattuso has accepted the defensive line job at Maryland.

TCU: Gary Patterson has agreed to a new contract through 2018.

Pitt: Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster interviewed today for the head coaching job.

Fort Hays State: Our sources tell us that Southwestern College assistant Dion Meneley has accepted a position at Fort Hays State.

VMI: We are hearing that former Livingstone head coach Eric Brown has accepted the outside linebackers job at VMI.

UCONN: We are hearing that two NFL assistant have talked with UCONN. Our source tells us one of the coaches is a coordinator of a playoff team.

Delaware State: Our sources tell us that Wesley College head coach Mike Drass has been offered the head coaching job at Delaware State.

Denver Broncos: Our sources tell the Broncos will interview Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter.

Stanford: Sources near the situation tell us Stanford intends to make an offer to Boise State head coach Chris Petersen. 

Harbaugh: Schefter is reporting five years, $25 million with the 49ers. 

Tennessee Titans: Bud Adams has announced that Jeff Fisher will return. 

Texas: Orangebloods is reporting that Boise State offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin has accepted a position on the staff at Texas. 

United State Merchant Marine Academy: We hear that Chad Nice has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Harbaugh: Adam Schefter is reporting that Jim Harbaugh has agreed to a five year deal with the 49ers. 

Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA:  Intern - The intern football coach is responsible for coaching his own positional group, on and off campus recruitment, monitoring academic success of the student-athletes, game and practice preparation, video editing and film exchange, assist in developing the off season strength and conditioning program, and other general administrative duties as assigned by the head coach and Director of Athletics. The intern will be evaluated based on the performance of his positional group, overall student-athlete development, and for establishing a sport culture in which he is viewed by the student-athletes and his colleagues as a mentor, educator, and role model. The intern will also be responsible for supporting the mission of Ursinus College as well as adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA policies and procedures. Kent State: Darrell Hazell has added Thad Jamison as his wide receivers coach and Dennis Scuderi as their tight ends / recruitiing coordinator. Jamison is a high school coach with strong ties to Ohio State and Hazell and Scuderi also was a high school head coach in New Jersey. 

West Virginia Wesleyan: has an immediate opening for an offensive graduate assistant position. To qualify you must have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA and a minimum of 400 on the GMAT or 900 on the GRE. Jim Harbaugh: ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Jim Harbaugh is down to Stanford and the 49ers. According to Mort, Stanford is the favorite.

Furman: We are hearing that former Vanderbilt assistant Des Kitchings accepted the offensive coordinator job at Furman University.

TrinityInternationalUniversity: located in Deerfield, Illinois is seeking an offensive line coach. This is a 12 month salaried position. TIU is a member of the NAIA and is affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church. Requirements of the position include: strong personal faith in Jesus Christ, college offensive line coaching experience, coached in a spread offense. Utica College: (NCAA Division III / Empire 8 Conference) is currently seeking a Graduate Assistant Football Coach. The position includes a $6,000 stipend, housing, meal plan, and 12.0 credits per year for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include but not limited to Running Backs, TE’s, or Wide Receivers. Experience playing and our coaching an offensive skill position preferred. Strength and Conditioning background and DVSPORT experience is preferred. Tiffin University: We have learned that McMurry defensive line coach Barris Grant accepted the defensive coordinator job at Tiffin University.

Newberry College: We have learned that Mississippi Valley State offensive line / tight ends coach Cedric Williams has accepted the offensive line job at Newberry.

Houston Texans: The Texans have asked permission to interview Dallas Cowboys linebackers coach Reggie Herring. Earlier in the week, the Texas dismissed linebacker coaches Johnny Holland and Robert Salah.

Miami (OH): Our sources tell us that Michigan State grad assistants Zak Willis and Nick Siatris will be joining Don Treadwell's staff at Miami (OH).

Texas State: Our sources tell us that Northern Colorado offensive coordinator Dennis Darnell has been offered the offensive line job by Dennis Franchione.

Miami Dolphins: Chris Mortensen reports that he has been told the Dolphins have decided to keep Tony Sparano as head coach.

Michigan: ESPN reports that Michigan expressed interest in Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald, who declined to move forward with talks.

Baylor: We hear Pitt defensive coordinator Phil Bennett has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Baylor.
