North Dakota: Head coach Chris Mussman announced a number of changes today. UC Davis corners coach Wes Nurse joins the staff and will coach the corners. Northland community college defensive coordinator Kyle Myers joins the staff as outside linebackers coach and former player Jeff Richter has been named tight ends coach. Mike Mannausau has been promoted to defensive coordinator / associate head coach and Josh Kotelnicki has added the assistant head coach title. Benny Boyd moves from corners to now oversee the entire secondary. 

SMU: Chattanooga athletic director Rick Hart will be named athletic director at SMU according to multiple outlets. 

South Carolina: New athletic director Ray Tanner will earn $675,000 per year in a five year agreement. 

Purdue: We can confirm the report from earlier today from Mike Carmin of the Lafayette Journal and Courier that Kevin Maurice, who has been serving as interim director of player development, will be given the job on a full-time basis. Update> Purdue has officially announced this now. 

UT Martin (FCS): Sources tell us that Southern Arkansas defensive coordinator will join the Martin staff as secondary coach. 

Southern Arkansas (D-II): We hear defensive line coach Shane Tolleson has accepted a job on the staff at Haltom HS. 

New Mexico Highlands: New Mexico Highlands University, member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, has added three new coaches on the offensive side of the ball this off-season and is currently looking to fill
an opening for a Defensive Assistant. On the offensive side of the ball, the new additions to the staff are Stephen Parker as offensive coordinator / offensive line (from Oklahoma State), Mike Rigell as running backs coach (from Idaho State) and Alex Mortensen as quarterbacks / passing game coordinator. For the defensive opening, any experience with Strength and Conditioning or video with HUDL will be strongly considered. Bachelor’s degree and official transcripts required. Defensive Assistants receive housing and a stipend. No meals or tuition is included. Northwestern Oklahoma State Unversity: The linebackers job at NWOSU was filled with Lonnie Messick who was at South Dakota School of Mines last season. 

Carnegie Mellon (D-III - PA): McDaniel College (D-III - MD) tight ends coach Joe Lapkowicz has been named receivers / tight ends coach at Carnegie Mellon. 

Northwestern Oklahoma State University: The NWOSU Football Staff is currently accepting applications for four VOLUNTEER INTERN/Assistant Football Coach for the Fall of 2012. These are for VOLUNTEER/UN-PAID positions! Positions include equipment staff intern, video intern, recruiting intern and football operations intern. Start Date: As early as of Aug. 1, 2012. Position MUST be for college credit and is NOT paid. Documentation from your university, either undergraduate or graduate program, must be provided. This is a great opportunity to better understand program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities, receive college credits, as well as earn an on the field coaching position. Lehigh (FCS - PA): Carnegie Mellon (D-III - PA) tackles / tight ends coach Vinny Giacalone has accepted a position on the staff at Lehigh. 

Berry College (D-III - GA): Former Aurora University (D-III - IL) head coach Rich Duncan has joined the staff as offensive coordinator.

West Alabama: Sources tell us that Will Hall has filled his defensive line job with Dwayne Curry. Curry, who had accepted the linebackers job at Northwestern Oklahoma State, previously has coached at Garden City CC, Savannah State, Hinds CC, East Mississippi CC, etc...

Fitchburg State (D-III - MA): We have learned that former Worcester State offensive coordinator Devin Gates is now the quarterbacks / pass game coordinator at Fitchburg State University.

Benedict College (D-II - SC): Benedict College is seeking a Volunteer Kicking Coach with experience in kicking/punting. This position will not pay stipend or salary. Bethel (NAIA - TN): Bethel University, TN, member of the NAIA and the Mid-South Conference, has four Graduate Assistant openings. Possible positions being filled are: Corners, Linebackers, Receivers, Running Backs and Offensive Line. Experience playing these positions is required. Any experience with Strength and Conditioning or video with HUDL will be strongly considered. Graduate Assistants receive tuition, housing, meals and a stipend. Tulane: The New Orleans City Council voted last night to remove the impediments they had proposed in May...long story; but this is good news for Tulane's plans to build a stadium on campus. Tulane had stated they hope to have the stadium ready for the 2014 season. That seems ambitious; but we'll keep you posted.
