Slippery Rock (D-II - PA): Running backs coach Bill Horsman has resigned.

East Central (D-II - OK): Brett Watson has joined the staff as defensive line coach. Watson was at West Alabama and was at West Texas prior to that. 

Carroll University (D-III - WI): We hear quarterbacks coach Peter Jennings has been promoted to offensive coordinator at Carroll. 

Big Ten: Not only did Jim Delany seek authority to fire coaches...he also wanted authoity to hire coaches for member universities

Fairleigh Dickinson University: FDU is looking for either a defensive intern or an offensive intern from august 1, 2012- april 30, 2013. Compensation includes $6,000, 9 credits toward a master’s degree and full compensation for a strength & conditioning certificate. Many opportunities for professional development will be covered. There are also opportunities to earn money in and out of season on campus. There is no housing, meals or benefits included. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching your own offensive or defensive position, recruiting your own area on the road (all expenses covered), academic monitoring, video, strength and conditioning and assisting the Offensive/Defensive Coordinator and Head Coach in all phases of the program. Becker College (D-III - MA): Sources tell us that former Juniata staff member Tyler Cottle will join the staff as outside linebackers coach. 

Colby College (D-III - ME): Colby College, located in Waterville, ME and a member of the highly selective New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), invites applicants for an open intern position as an offensive assistant coach. Compensation within position will be commensurate with experience as a quality collegiate recruiter and on the field teacher. Potential candidate will lead own position group as well as have own recruiting area within a school that recruits nationally. Candidate will also be responsible for day to day operations of the team including practice planning and set up, post-practice evaluations, travel, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Bachelor’s degree from accredited four-year institution; exemplary references, as well as the desire to develop oneself in career of college coaching a must! Importance in capacity to lead, organize, plan, and be a team player. Position includes a benefits package to those that qualify.
