West Virginia: Bill Stewart is out as head coach.

UW-Stevens Point: Jon Verdegan is moving from head strength coach to special teams coordinator / defensive line coach.

Auburn: Gene Chizik has received a 5-year extension worth a minimum of $3.5 million per year.

UTEP: Our sources tell us that University of San Diego corners coach Gabe Franklin has accepted the corners job at UTEP. Another source tells us that former corners coach Allen Johnson will be joining the Lamar University coaching staff.

Mississippi State: Lee Davis is the new recruiting specialist at Mississippi State.

Trinity University (TX): Offensive Restricted Earnings Assistant for Football. Offensive Assistant Coach of Football (Offensive Line). This position is a part - time, four month contract staff appointment beginning August 1, 2011. Duties include planning and implementing all activities for the offensive team for practice and games, and video editing will play a major part of this assignment. Other areas determined by the head coach. Compensation will be approximately $6,700 and will not include benefits. The position reports to Head Coach of Football. Qualifications include baccalaureate degree and 3 years of coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level. Wagner University: We are hearing that former Ravenwood HS (TN) head coach Del Smith and Columbia tight ends coach Tony Brinson are candidates to fill the defensive coordinator position at Wagner College.
