Luther College (D-III - IA):Luther College is seeking applicants for a defensive coordinator. This opportunity is a 10 month contract. Specific duties of the position include coordinating all aspects of the defense, assisting with the administration and management of the football program,evaluating player performance and recruiting prospective student-athletes. Oregon State: Wisconsin offensive line coach TJ Woods and defensive line coach Chad Kauha'aha'a "are certain to join Andersen in Corvallis, according to sources" reports Andy Baggot of the Wisconsin State Journal.

ESPN: ESPN announced during Monday Night Football that Jon Gruden has signed an extension through 2021, the length of ESPN's Monday Night Football contract.

Washington Redskins:NBC in DC is reporting that Jay Gruden has been told he will return next season.

Nebraska: Mike Riley has retained defensive backs coach Charlton Warren per Sean Callahan who covers Nebraska for Rivals.

Michigan: Les Miles tried to make it explicitly clear tonight. He is not going to Michigan.

Samford (FCS - AL): Per source, Chris Hatcher is bringing offensive line coach Shawn Bostick and receivers coach Russ Callaway from Murray and has retained most of the assistants from Pat Sullivan's staff (including Billy D'Ottavio, Travis Trickett and Ross Newton among others).

Prairie View A&M (FCS - TX): Sources tell us Alcorn State offensive coordinator Willie Simmons has accepted the head coaching offer at Prairie View and will be announced tomorrow.

Norfolk State (FCS - VA): HBCU Gameday is reporting, via sources, that Virginia State head coach Latrell Scott will be named the new head coach at Norfolk State. We'll update once we have confirmed.

Peru State (NAIA - NE): Peru State is looking for qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position. The position will also work with Residence Life. For details on the positions, and how to apply, visit this link.

Buffalo: The school has now announced the hiring of D.J. Vokolek as secondary coach.

Oregon State: Gary Andersen has now formally announced that Beavers receivers coach Brent Brennan will remain on board as part of his staff. We reported the same yesterday morning following Brennan's acceptance of Andersen's offer.

Murray State (FCS - KY): Per source, Middle Tennessee offensive grad assistant Casey Brockman will join the Murray State staff as quarterbacks coach. We also hear that Gordon Steele will be promoted to offensive line coach and we also hear that Steve Adams (director of football operations / recruiting) may be shifting responsibilities as well. We expect Coach Stewart to continue to call the offense. Will update...

Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Defensive backs coach Alan Zemaitis, who has been with the program since 2012, has been promoted to defensive coordinator.

Midland University (NAIA - NE): Midland University is seeking applicants for a full-time assistant football coach/defensive coordinator position. Minimum of 3 to 5 years defensive football coaching and/or coordinating experience is preferred. UNLV: Per sources, Nebraska's Barney Cotton and John Garrison are both joining Tony Sanchez' staff. We understand that Cotton will have the offensive coordinator title.

Houston: Sources we have spoken with expect Tom Herman to have both Major Applewhite and James Madison co-offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer (former Ohio State grad assistant) on his offensive staff. We also have been told; but have not confirmed, that Herman intends to retain defensive coordinator David Gibbs. Will update...

St. Ambrose (NAIA - IA):St. Ambrose University is looking to fill an open date on September 5th, 2015. We must fill it with a Home game. Willing to make return trip in 2016. Email head coach Mike Magistrelli at magistrellimichaelj@sau.edu if interested.

Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State is looking for a defensive graduate assistant (defensive line or linebackers). Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Compensation package includes $8,000 and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. January 5th start date. Saint Anselm (D-II - NH): Saint Anselm College, located in Manchester, NH is seeking volunteer offensive and defensive quality control interns. No stipend or benefits available. Applicants from the New Hampshire, or Boston area are strongly encouraged to apply. Interns will be involved in all aspects of the program including coaching, field set up, video editing, data entry, recruiting, and opponent / self-scouting. Northwestern Oklahoma State (D-II): Cory Sullivan, who coached the linebackers the past two seasons at Emporia State, has been hired to coach the defensive backs and the special teams. Also, Dan Lemke has been hired as defensive coordinator. The rest of Matt Walter's staff is as follows; Dustin Hada (asst. HC/OL), Anthony Weeden (WR/recruiting coordinator), Dalton Beeler (TEs), Mike Brown (assistant DL), Joseph Foteh (CBs), Mike Mancino (LBs), and DeAndre Wynn (RBs).

University of San Diego (FCS): Per source, defensive line coach Kenny Holmes is stepping down to pursue other football opportunities.

Houston: Ohio State offensive coordinator Tom Herman is expected to be the next head coach at Houston according to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports (we have now confirmed the hire as well). Our story on a hiring that feels like a great fit for both sides.

Tom Herman was also selected by a prior winners as the 2014 FootballScoop Offensive Coordinator of the Year on Monday. What a day for the Herman family.

Prairie View A&M (FCS - TX): Per source, Alcorn State offensive coordinator Willie Simmons is at Prairie View today and sources tell us he could be offered the head job as early as this afternoon. Simmons is also a finalist at FAMU (see below).

Florida A&M (FCS): Sources in Florida tell us athletic director Kellen Winslow is planning to step down. Winslow, who has been on the job less than one year, has admitted a number of missteps since his hiring. FAMU is in the process of hiring a new head coach. We reported Friday that Joker Phillips, Willie Simmons and Corey Fuller are the three finalists. Our sources do not expect Winslow's resignation to significantly derail the hiring process. We will keep you updated.

Delaware State (FCS): Per source, head coach Kermit Blount has been relieved of his duties. The Hornets were 2-10 this season, and Blount was 16-24 in his four seasons leading the program, including a 6-5 mark in 2012. Update> The school has released a statement, confirming that Blount's contract will not be renewed. Andrew Faison, who joined the staff in March as the safeties coach, will serve as the interim head coach.

South Florida: ESPN's Derek Tyson is reporting the Ole Miss linebackers coach Tom Allen has been offered and has accepted the defensive coordinator job at South Florida.

Playoff Update: The FCS semifinals are set, while Division II, Division III and NAIA are headed for the finals.

University of Arkansas at Monticello (D-II): University of Arkansas at Monticello is accepting applications for a wide receiver offensive graduate assistant. The candidates duties include; coaching wide receivers, recruiting, video editing and breakdown and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Previous playing and/or coaching experience with wide receivers is required. Must be able to be admitted to the Graduate School per university policy.
