Rutgers: Western Illinois offensive line coach AJ Blazek is joining Chris Ash's staff, per source. Blazek has served as offensive line coach at WIU the past three seasons, was co-offensive coordinator / offensive line / tight ends at Winona State prior to that (2009-2012), offensive coordinator / offensive line at Fort Hays State (2005-2009) and served as a grad assistant at Iowa (2001-2004).

BYU: Oregon State linebackers / special teams coordinator Ilaisa Tuiaki confirmed today that he is joining Kalani Sitake at BYU.

Eastern Kentucky (FCS): Per source, Mark Elder plans to make Coffeyville offensive coordinator Angelo Mirando his offensive coordinator at EKU and Valparaiso linebackers coach Kurt Mattix his defensive coordinator.

Georgia: Per source, Kirby Smart plans to retain defensive line coach Tracy Rocker.

Fresno State: Defensive coordinator Nick Toth is being reassigned within the staff per Tim DeRuyter. DeRuyter is now looking for a new offensive coordinator and a new defensive coordinator. We hear that a number of guys have interviewed for the OC position. Sounds like that one could be filled very soon.

Western Kentucky: AD Todd Stewart plans to rework Jeff Brohm's contract per Pete Thamel. Brohm made $850,000 this season including bonuses.

West Virginia: Defensive coordinator Tony Gibson signed an amendment to his contract last week that guarantees his compensation ($700,000) for the 2017 season. The prior version included language that only guaranteed the 2017 money if Dana Holgorsen was head coach that season.

Arizona: Per source, corners coach David Lockwood will not return. Jahmile Addae, an analyst in his third year with the program, is being promoted to fill the position.

BYU: Local ESPN 960 is reporting that Ty Detmer and Ed Lamb will join Kalani Sitake's staff. Detmer, the former BYU quarterback, has been the head coach at St. Andrews Episcopal since 2009. Lamb, Southern Utah's head coach, is a former linebacker at BYU as well. Sources tell FootballScoop that despite the report, neither of these is a done deal.

Virginia: Virginia has now announced that Nua is not coming and has named Shane Hunter their new defensive line coach. Hunter was a grad assistant at BYU.

Navy: Per source, Shaun Nua will not leave for Virginia as had been reported...Nua plans to stay at Navy.

Pitt: Tight ends coach Tim Salem will serve as offensive coordinator for the bowl game and graduate assistant Dave Bucar will take over the tight ends. Salem is a 30-year college coaching veteran who has served as offensive coordinator at three different stops (UCF, Eastern Michigan, Purdue).

Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Tackles and tight ends coach Kevin Bleil has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator / passing game coordinator and offensive line coach Joe Holtzclaw has added the co-offensive coordinator / run game coordinator title.

Memphis: Detroit Lions assistant offensive line coach Ryan Silverfield will be the offensive line coach at Memphis, per SI. Silverfield was a senior offensive analyst on the Arizona State staff with new Memphis head coach Mike Norvell before joining the Lions in November.

Michigan: The program has formally announced the addition of Don Brown as defensive coordinator. Brown's defense at Boston College this past season was the top defensive unit in the country.

Hastings College (NAIA - NE): Hastings College is taking applications for a defensive gaduate assistant. Primary responsibilities include coaching a position within the secondary, recruiting an assigned territory and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum 2.5 GPA and admission into the Hastings College MAT graduate program a must. Tuition remission, bi-weekly stipend and a 10 month contract are included in the compensation. Misericordia (D-III - PA): Misericordia University is seeking candidates for the full-time position of assistant football coach / strength and conditioning coach. A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; prior playing or coaching experience at the college, university, or professional level; and working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations are required. A background in coaching the offensive line or a defensive coordinator, as well as experience in strength and conditioning are preferred. Candidates must apply via this link.

South Florida: USF has now formally announced Willie Taggart's three-year extension that locks him up through 2020 worth a total of $9 million. Taggart led the Bulls to a 8-4 finish overall this year, and a 6-2 mark in the AAC. Taggart's salary pool increases to $2.4 million in the first year of the new deal, and increases every season thereafter. The same goes for his buyout, which starts at $1.7 million and goes down each year.

Franklin College (D-III - IN): Franklin College is accepting applicants for offensive coordinator. The position will also serve as intramural sports coordinator as well. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred. Preference given to candidates with three years’ coaching experience, collegiate recruiting experience and experience coaching quarterbacks or wide receivers at the college level. Scoop him up: Michael Cross spent the past two seasons as a graduate assistant working with the offensive line at University of Louisiana-Monroe as a member of Todd Berry's staff. Prior to that, Cross made a name for himself at the small college level at Aurora University (D-III - IL) under Rick Ponx as the offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator and director of football operations and prior to that he started as an offensive line GA at North Central College (D-III - IL) before being promoted to the full-time offensive line position. Cross' well rounded experience at the D-III and FBS level make him a great option for a number of programs that find themselves with an opening.

Franklin College (D-III - IN): Franklin College is looking to hire a new offensive line coach. Primary responsibilities include serving as offensive line coach in football and head strength and conditioning coach for the athletic department. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Preference given to candidates with three years coaching experience, collegiate recruiting experience and experience coaching offensive line at the college level. BYU: Athletic director Tom Holmoe noted yesterday that information on coordinators and assistants on Kalani Sitake's staff would come out at his scheduled presser (3pm EST) later today. Rivals is reporting that Oregon State linebackers coach Illaisa Tuiaki will join Sitake's staff.

Montana Tech (NAIA): Montana Tech has an immediate opening for two intern coaching positions (one offensive and one defensive). Primary responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all phases of the football program. Other responsibilities include coaching a position. Must be proficient in using Hudl Video Editor, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with film breakdown and data entry is a must. A monthly stipend will be provided as well as a portion of housing. This is an entry level position. College playing experience and/or previous coaching experience is preferred. Iowa Wesleyan (D-III): Mike Richtman has been announced as the new head coach. Richtman joined the program in 2013, and has served as special teams coordinator and offensive and defensive line coach during his time with the team.
